Chapter 1179 - Chapter 1433 - Initial Concept of Rainbow Rocket

After hanging up the phone, I placed the communicator in the most covert spot on my body.

After the call ended, Aoki stared blankly at a corner of his room.

For a moment, he genuinely didn't know how to compose himself, but the task Giovanni had assigned him wasn't particularly difficult.

Even though Aoki had only received fragmented information from Giovanni, he had already roughly guessed Giovanni's intentions and goals.

Letting out a long sigh, Aoki felt a slight pressure.

It was nothing else, purely pressure from Giovanni.

To be honest, Giovanni in his current state was truly invincible!

He possessed a nearly complete Mewtwo, augmented by the Mind Armor, which might not be much weaker than a fully complete Mewtwo, and he also had Beedrill, his ace Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution.

He himself was a powerful individual, possessing the extremely rare and even unknown effects of the Viridian Power.

Furthermore, he had dozens of other Ground-type Pokémon capable of handling any situation and strategy, making him virtually without weaknesses.

And after the chaos at Silver Mountain last time, the vast machine that was Team Rocket had fully resumed operation; every member, every Team Rocket base in every city, was like a component or a gear in the machine, and once they started operating, they became incredibly coordinated, as if they had been preparing to do this all along.

In recent years, Team Rocket had contracted and remained dormant, but it wasn't as if they had done nothing at all.

Even if the Alliance believed it, Aoki didn't; Giovanni must have made all the necessary preparations for Team Rocket's re-emergence during that time, which is why Team Rocket was able to become operational in just a short week.

From this, one could still glean a bit about Giovanni's capabilities.

And the task Giovanni had given Aoki this time, while perhaps extremely difficult or even impossible for others, was quite simple for Aoki.

As the vice-leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni didn't just give Aoki a title without corresponding power and benefits.

Aoki could now freely command all current Team Rocket executives, including the highest-ranking ones, issuing tasks and directives to them just as Giovanni would; anyone who dared to defy would be considered a traitor to Team Rocket and would be hunted down by Team Rocket until death.

This was an order personally issued by Giovanni, and no one dared to defy it.

Moreover, Aoki himself was very powerful, and dealing with some people was a matter of minutes.

However, a large portion of people did not know Aoki's true identity; only a select few, including the highest executives, knew, and these individuals generally would not and dared not reveal Aoki's true identity.

At the same time, Aoki could utilize most of Team Rocket's resources, including human resources, materials, and even Pokémon.

This was equivalent to establishing a position within Team Rocket that was second only to Giovanni but above everyone else, thereby demonstrating the importance placed on Aoki.

Because Giovanni knew that Aoki was not someone who excessively pursued power; even if Aoki pursued power, it was only to facilitate his own strength improvement and to make his path smoother.

So he simply gave Aoki the highest status he could, knowing that Aoki wouldn't engage in infighting for a bit of power; he didn't have the time for that.

It must be said that Giovanni was indeed very discerning in judging people.

The reason why so many of Team Rocket's highest executives were loyal and devoted to him was because Giovanni knew what they ultimately needed.

Those who wanted strength were given strength, those who wanted power were given power, those who wanted money were given money, those who wanted beautiful women were given beautiful women—you could have anything you wanted, as long as you were loyal and diligent.

By grasping this point, he grasped the entirety of Team Rocket.

Since Aoki was given such a high position and power, he naturally had to bear corresponding responsibilities; after all, one couldn't just take benefits without doing anything, right?

So this time, Aoki needed to make a trip to the Kalos region.

Why was it said that it would be difficult for others to succeed, but relatively simple for Aoki?

Because Giovanni hoped that Aoki could go to the Kalos region and contact Team Flare, the most famous and powerful underground organization in the Kalos region at that time!

He hoped to cooperate with Team Flare to conquer the Alliance together.

It seemed like just a normal alliance between underground forces from different regions, but Aoki learned that Giovanni himself would go to the Sinnoh and Unova regions to personally persuade the powerful underground forces there, Team Galactic and Team Plasma, hoping to unite them.

As for the Alola region, which had only recently been discovered by the Alliance and was about to be settled but not yet, Giovanni had already successfully contacted the Aether Foundation there, leveraging the betrayal of Lance last time.

After all, the Aether Foundation was under immense pressure now, facing such a massive force as the Alliance, even they were somewhat overwhelmed.

But if it was Team Rocket, also an enemy of the Alliance, then it would be different.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, so they quickly accepted Giovanni's invitation.

However, Aoki knew that Giovanni's stated goal of alliance was merely the initial objective; his true aim was to absorb all these forces into Team Rocket.

Or rather, to create a massive organization that encompassed all the strongest underground forces in all currently discovered regions.

In Aoki's impression, it should be... Rainbow Rocket!

A powerful force that could truly contend with the entire Alliance, a massive organization that would be no less formidable than the Alliance!

The reason Giovanni stopped expanding after developing Team Rocket into a powerful force spanning the Kanto and Johto regions was partly because these regions were extremely resistant to outside forces, guarding their territories very tightly, and if pushed too hard, they would even unite with the Alliance to deal with the intruding outsider.

In severe cases, it could even trigger a violent backlash, causing the invading force to completely turn against Team Rocket.

Another reason was that Giovanni felt that the time and resources wasted in conquering territory inch by inch were somewhat not worth it.

Instead, it would be better to wait until he possessed absolute power, then carry out a grand integration, absorbing all forces in one fell swoop, which would be a permanent solution.

Otherwise, even Giovanni wasn't entirely sure if he could conquer such a vast territory in his lifetime.

Moreover, the Alliance had been dedicated to finding new regions in recent years, and who knew how long it would take to conquer those regions.

It was faster to use that time to push his own strength to the limit.

Now, a part of Giovanni's obsession, finding Mew, had been realized through Mewtwo.

In fact, the current Mewtwo was even more suitable for Giovanni than the Mew he had always pursued.

"It's a good thing it's the Kalos region; if I had to go to Unova or Sinnoh or something, I really wouldn't know where to start," Aoki silently sighed.

In any case, Aoki still had a lot of influence within Team Flare, and he genuinely had a few loose ends to tie up in the Kalos region.

It was a good opportunity to resolve those matters during this period.

He had three weeks, which should be enough to deal with the situation.

Thinking this, Aoki didn't hesitate, immediately getting up to prepare his things!

In one week, although he hadn't fully understood the Unown, he had a pretty good grasp of them.

He didn't know why, but originally, these Unown would more or less have some connection with him, and he could get a certain response when he called them, but ever since the Question Mark and Exclamation Mark Unown gathered, they stopped paying attention to him, no matter how he tried.

However, there was still no obstruction when calling upon their abilities.

Most importantly, Aoki's Teleportation range had greatly increased; although it wasn't enough to get him directly to the Kalos region, his speed had significantly improved, so he didn't have to keep flying aimlessly.

After preparing his things, he instantly vanished from the room.

When he reappeared, he was already in mid-air, and without stopping, he performed another Teleportation, directly leaving the Hoenn region.

From this, one could see how vast Aoki's Teleportation range was at this moment, being able to leave the Hoenn region in just two jumps.

And this was just the simplest enhancement the Unown had brought to Aoki.

The ability to create that special barrier was even more powerful; now, if Aoki wanted to hide himself, it was estimated that very few people could truly discover his presence.

In fact, what surprised Aoki the most was a new ability he had discovered.

At that time, while blindly testing if he had gained any new abilities, Aoki accidentally grabbed a broken piece of furniture, and as he watched, the broken furniture actually began to restore itself at a speed visible to the naked eye.

However, it stopped halfway through, whether due to energy depletion or simply being able to achieve only that much.

Aoki hadn't even figured out whether the Unown possessed the ability to repair things, or... the ability to control time.

Because both restoration and time control abilities could achieve this extent.

He accidentally discovered this ability, and before he had a chance to properly study it, he was interrupted by Giovanni's call.

Then he eagerly rushed towards the Kalos region.

By the time he arrived in the Kalos region, it was already dark, but Aoki wasn't without a place to stay there.

He had acquaintances there, so it was just a visit.

Having informed Lysandre in advance, Aoki silently appeared in Team Flare's base.

At this moment, all of Team Flare's executives were gathered, awaiting Aoki, a figure who had only appeared a few times but had firmly held the position of Team Flare's vice-leader and was highly revered by their leader, Lysandre!

The one who had directly taken hundreds of Mega Stones, which could be said to be priceless, from Team Flare's hands.

At that time, they didn't know the value of these items, so when the vice-leader sent people to retrieve them, although they were puzzled, they didn't stop them, and since the items were guarded by Lysandre, they couldn't even access them.

Furthermore, the two people who came at that time, both in terms of their aura and the strength they displayed, were quite terrifying; they even suspected that if they had forcefully resisted, they might not have been a match for those two.

After all, Team Flare was an underground force that primarily relied on technology, and this organization possessed a lot of advanced and powerful technology.

In terms of scientific technology alone, the only one that could rival them should be Team Rocket, which dominated two regions.

Additionally, most of Team Flare's executives were researchers, and they all had their own research topics and directions; if they could all be realized, it would bring considerable help to Team Flare.

For example, Xerosic's research on the E-Suit, which could grant trainers a certain degree of combat capability for a short period and also help them better command Pokémon in battle, analyzing opponent Pokémon's combat data to help their own Pokémon respond better, was a very promising research direction.

Team Rocket and Team Flare had already had some cooperation before.

The main thing was that Team Rocket regularly ordered some battle suits from Team Flare; although they were unfinished battle suits, they were still very rare.

Within Team Rocket, only captains of a higher rank were qualified to use them.

Of course, the two sides merely had a simple exchange of interests and no special connection. Team Flare needed Team Rocket's financial resources and some knowledge and technical support, while Team Rocket purely needed such battle suits to enhance their own strength.

Most of the executives were furious, just waiting for Aoki, the vice-leader, to arrive so they could give him a piece of their mind.

However, when they looked at the smiling Lysandre, their hearts were filled with helplessness.

Their own leader was truly too supportive of this so-called vice-leader, so supportive that they didn't know how to handle the situation.

Didn't Lysandre know what those hundreds of Mega Stones represented now?

It could be said without exaggeration that after Hoenn's Sandstorm Elite Four, Aoki, announced Mega Evolution, the value of Mega Stones skyrocketed. Even a single Mega Stone, whose compatible Pokémon was unknown, could be exchanged for a pseudo-legendary Pokémon egg, and it had to be an egg with exceptional aptitude and talent.

However, a Mega Stone whose compatible Pokémon was unknown carried a certain element of gambling. But if it was a Mega Stone whose compatible Pokémon was known, its value would be even higher, especially for trainers who owned that specific Pokémon.

If one was lucky enough to obtain a pseudo-legendary Mega Stone, then congratulations—if word got out, who knew how many people would come to assassinate and snatch it.

Treasures of this caliber were not something ordinary people were fit to possess. Only true powerhouses had the ability to own and control them; otherwise, they would not be treasures but rather disasters!

Because the value of such treasures could not be measured by money!

Just like Aoki, who exchanged a Metagross Mega Stone for something that was the most fundamental and crucial item for a giant family like the Stone family: one of the foundations of their family, a method for training and improving the aptitude of Steel-type Pokémon.

It could be said without exaggeration that anyone with this method could completely replicate another family like the Stone family, based on Steel-type Pokémon. After decades of accumulation, perhaps another Stone family could emerge!

This demonstrated just how high the value of a pseudo-legendary Pokémon's Mega Stone truly was.

However, it was only because of Aoki, with Steven Stone's instigation, that Jasmine Stone would hand over such a precious item.

But Team Flare, at that time, had taken out hundreds of Mega Stones at once, and it was possible there were a few pseudo-legendary Mega Stones among them.

Of course, there were indeed pseudo-legendary Pokémon Mega Stones among them; Steven Stone's Metagross Mega Stone was taken from that collection.

More than a month had passed since the announcement of Mega Evolution, and the Alliance's Pokémon researchers had diligently studied and successively released some Mega Stone Pokedex entries.

Currently, there were over twenty known Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving, many of which were Aoki's Pokémon.

Whoosh—

A person in a black robe with a hood appeared in the office.

The sudden appearance of the figure startled everyone, who all stood up in defensive postures, the sound of chairs scraping against the floor echoing throughout the room.

However, contrary to their reactions, the dark figure swaggered directly to the first seat on Lysandre's right and sat down, crossing their legs.

"Everyone, please sit! Please sit! There's no need to welcome me in such a grand manner; it makes me quite embarrassed." Aoki waved his hand gently at everyone, indicating that they didn't need to be so polite and should quickly sit down.

Hearing Aoki's words, their eyes widened, and they almost couldn't control their anger, wanting to roll up their sleeves and attack Aoki.

"Haha, Pastor is truly too modest. Everyone, please sit down; don't make a fuss." The only person who remained as calm as Aoki and stayed seated was Lysandre.

He smiled and greeted Aoki, then told everyone to sit down and talk.

Facing such a leader, everyone felt very helpless.

But there was nothing they could do; Lysandre was the person they respected the most and the only one they truly submitted to. He was the representative of Lysandre Labs, the one who had led them from being mere researchers to their current position.

Moreover, Aoki had not been entirely useless to Team Flare; at the very least, Team Flare's establishment was closely related to this vice-leader.

In addition, he had given Lysandre many suggestions and advice, helping Team Flare develop better.

At least the command to place Malva and the other Team Flare members, with Malva now holding an Elite Four position, was due to Aoki's suggestion.

It was just that they were truly upset that Aoki had taken hundreds of Mega Stones all at once.

"Due to some matters, I haven't appeared for a long time, and I'm truly a bit embarrassed.

But it seems everyone has been doing quite well during this time. Our Team Flare has now grown to the point where it almost covers the entire Kalos region, and this is inseparable from everyone's efforts," Aoki said with a smile, glancing at everyone.

"Hmph! If we hadn't lost those hundreds of Mega Stones, I estimate we would be even better off now, and we wouldn't even have to worry about funding for our research," Xerosic said sarcastically.

Xerosic was the highest-ranking person in Team Flare, besides Lysandre and Aoki, among those present.

Of course, it was because Malva was currently more low-key; if she truly showed her capabilities, even Xerosic wouldn't be able to suppress her; only Lysandre could.

"Xerosic!" Before Aoki could speak, Lysandre sternly called his name, and his tone was quite heavy, clearly indicating his displeasure with Xerosic's way of speaking.

In his early years, under Aoki's manipulation, a psychic seed had been planted in Lysandre's mind. Although Aoki's psychic abilities were not strong enough at the time to plant a psychic seed with the same powerful control as those in Brad and Catherine's minds, the psychic seed in Lysandre's mind could be said to be one of the longest-lasting ones.

Over such a long period, the subtle influence it had on him had become terrifying.

It could even be said without exaggeration that at this moment, the seed had taken root and sprouted in Lysandre's mind, growing into a towering tree.

And the effect was that, under the subtle influence of the psychic seed, Lysandre had truly come to regard Aoki as a mentor-like figure. While he wouldn't necessarily obey every command, he was at least absolutely biased towards him.

Aoki looked at Xerosic and said with a smile, "Executive Xerosic, do you think my taking those items was a loss for Team Flare?

I wonder, in Executive Xerosic's opinion, who first suggested collecting these stones?"

Upon hearing this, Xerosic opened his mouth, but couldn't say anything.

As Aoki said, collecting Mega Stones was originally his suggestion. If it weren't for Aoki, they wouldn't have bothered to collect so many stones whose purpose was unknown.

And before Aoki had Brad and Catherine bring these items back, no one knew what these stones were for. It was only after their purpose was revealed later that they felt deep regret and felt they had been cheated.

Bang—

Aoki pulled a black cloth bag from his pocket and threw it onto the table. From the sound, it was clear there were many stones inside, and through the gaps in the bag, many colorful stones could be seen.

Mega Stones!

Everyone's thoughts trembled, and as they looked at the bag of Mega Stones, their eyes couldn't help but show greedy expressions.

It could be said without exaggeration that, given the current value of Mega Stones, the value of this one bag of Mega Stones was almost equivalent to all the wealth Team Flare currently possessed.

This was something that could make anyone soar to great heights!

Scanning the room, Aoki found that only two people were still able to maintain some semblance of composure. One was Lysandre, the leader of Team Flare. Although he was also very interested in these Mega Stones, his goal had never been on these items, or even on his own strength.

Improving his strength was merely to make the process of achieving his goals simpler.

The other was Malva, who had just challenged and defeated the previous Kalos Elite Four member a few days ago, successfully becoming the Fire-type Elite Four of the Kalos region.

As someone who rose quickly and became the second young-generation Elite Four in Kalos, her patience and ability were something even Aoki had to commend.

During the Sinnoh League, Malva was also one of Kalos's representatives, but at the time, she wasn't particularly noticeable, appearing very dim under the brilliance of Diantha and others.

However, she seized the opportunities Team Flare gave her and fully utilized them, gradually improving her strength until she became a Kalos Elite Four member. The meticulous effort involved in this was not something an ordinary person could achieve.

When they were on the Space-Time Continent, Malva had joined the Aura Valley where Aoki and others were. Although she wasn't particularly prominent among them, Aoki had paid special attention to her and saw her extraordinary effort.

Any success, in the face of effort, becomes even more precious. This was a very important reason why Aoki held Malva in high regard; she had a shadow similar to his own.

Moreover, in this office, besides Aoki and Lysandre, the rest of the people were more or less intimidated by Malva's presence, which she had earned through her own tireless efforts.

If it weren't for Aoki, she would likely have been the most probable candidate for vice-leader.

"The items are right here. If anyone thinks I shouldn't have taken them, feel free to take them." Aoki crossed his arms, completely hidden beneath his hood, and said indifferently.

"Gulp—"

Listening to Aoki's words, the eyes of many people present burst with raw desire, a desire that couldn't be hidden no matter how much they tried.

Several Team Flare executives exchanged frantic glances. Their sunglasses had a special function that allowed them to communicate simply through text.

Finally, everyone let Xerosic represent them.

Slowly standing up, Xerosic's obese body leaned over the table, extending a hand towards the bag of Mega Stones on the table.

For anyone, in the face of absolute self-interest so great that it becomes irresistible, sometimes rationality seems less important.

Aoki's eyes, hidden beneath his black robe, watched the slowly extending hand, his gaze gradually turning cold.

Bang!!

A sharp dagger stopped just before Xerosic's outstretched hand, by a hair's breadth. If Xerosic's hand had moved even slightly further forward, given the dagger's sharpness, he would likely have lost several fingers.

Feeling the chill from the dagger's blade, a bead of cold sweat appeared on Xerosic's forehead, and his back also felt somewhat damp.

Aoki, seated, looked at the dagger with a half-smile, then raised his head to look at Malva across from him.

She was idly twirling her hair with her left hand, but her expression didn't seem calm; she just looked at Aoki with a strange gaze.

That dagger just now was thrown by her.

Since it was a meeting in the conference room, no one had summoned their Pokémon, but no one expected Malva to throw a dagger like that.

"You!" Xerosic opened his mouth wide, wanting to question Malva's motive for doing so, but he was met with Malva's emotionless eyes.

In an instant, all words caught in his throat. He awkwardly sat back in his seat, saying nothing more, but the look he gave Aok and Wikstrom was peculiar.

Only when Xerosic sat back down did Wikstrom stand up. She extended her hands to the black bag, then pushed it back towards Aok, respectfully calling out, "Sir!"

A keen observer might have noticed that Wikstrom's neck and back were somewhat damp at this moment.

Aok watched Wikstrom, who, after pushing the black bag, remained bowed, not straightening up, as a sign of respect for Aok.

Looking at Wikstrom, Aok slowly pulled down his hood. His voice returned to its original tone as he asked indifferently, "How did you recognize me?"

Upon hearing this, Wikstrom's body trembled. Before she could speak, she was interrupted by others.

The ones who interrupted her, of course, were Xerosic and the others. They stared wide-eyed at Aok, who had removed his hood, their faces filled with shock.

"Ao... Aok! The Sandstorm Elite Four Aok of the Hoenn region!!!" Xerosic's voice trembled slightly. The others—Aliana, Bryony, Celosia, and Mable—also looked at Aok with horror, momentarily speechless.

However, they all made the same movement: a Poké Ball appeared in each of their hands.

Even Lysandre showed a hint of surprise as he looked at Aok, but then a look of sudden understanding appeared on his face. Clearly, he wasn't particularly concerned about Aok's identity.

Or rather, in his subconscious, Aok's identity simply wasn't that important.

But Aok ignored them, merely staring coldly at Wikstrom, wanting to hear how she had recognized him.

Feeling Aok's gaze on her grow colder, the hairs on Wikstrom's body stood on end, and her body trembled again.

Slowly straightening up, a bitter smile on her face, she truly hadn't expected that the elusive vice-leader of Team Flare would be Aok, the Hoenn region's top prodigy who had sheltered everyone on the Space-Time Continent.

Others might not know, but having just become one of the Kalos Elite Four, she was aware of what Aok had done on top of Silver Mountain a week ago, and she also knew what kind of strength Aok possessed at this moment.

Furthermore, in three weeks, Aok would become the Champion of the Hoenn region! Truly becoming the leader among their generation of young people!

And he was far, far ahead.

The more she learned, the more Wikstrom realized how terrifying someone with such strength truly was, so terrifying that it left her with no thought of resistance.

Even now that she was an Elite Four member, it was the same.

She had become an Elite Four member under the lowest conditions; she might not even be able to smoothly deal with a single cult executive. But Aok could instantly defeat three cult executives with overwhelming force and directly confront the cult leader Drayden, a master-level Mega Latias.

Such an existence was simply not someone she could provoke.

Even the current Lysandre of Team Flare, being here, was no different.

Why was Team Flare able to develop smoothly in the Kalos region?

It was only by leveraging the name of Lysandre Labs and Lysandre's connections within the Kalos League.

Team Flare's survival depended on technology, not absolute power. So Wikstrom could guarantee that everyone in this office combined would not be a match for Aok alone.

And now Xerosic and these people dared to question Aok, to question someone who could crush them like ants?

From Xerosic's perspective, Wikstrom had just made him lose face, but he didn't know that Wikstrom was saving his life.

What Aok wanted to do was kill the chicken to warn the monkeys, and Xerosic, who jumped out first, was that chicken, only to be interrupted by Wikstrom.

But now that Aok has unreservedly revealed his identity, there can only be two outcomes in this office today...

Either surrender... or... death!

Wikstrom's face was bitter. "Actually, I truly hoped it wasn't you, because... in the face of your strength, we people are truly insignificant."

Xerosic and the others heard Wikstrom so highly praise Aok's strength, even saying that so many of them combined were no match for Aok. Cold sweat immediately poured down their backs, and recalling their repeated provocations towards Aok just now, they truly felt they had been madly testing the boundaries of life and death.

That they were still breathing in one piece could only be attributed to luck.

Aok continued to look at Wikstrom, saying nothing. Clearly, she still hadn't revealed how she recognized him, which left him dissatisfied.

His body trembled slightly, and a milky white aura rose from Aok, spreading out and enveloping the entire room.

The special barrier of the Unown was a more stable and secure place than a different dimension. Here, without Aok's permission, leaving was a luxury.

"Because... these Mega Stones, in the entire Pokémon world, the only person I can think of who could collect Mega Stones so early is you, the trainer who announced Mega Evolution, the Sandstorm Elite Four Aok of the Hoenn region. Uh, in three weeks, you should be called Sandstorm Champion Aok." Wikstrom placed herself in a very humble position, using "you" (you, a respectful form) when addressing Aok.

She had no choice but to do so; in terms of both status and strength, he was an existence that completely overwhelmed her.

"Oh? Just because of that, you guessed my identity?

As far as I know, I'm not the only one who knew about Mega Evolution a while back." Aok thought of Drayden, the one who had already collected Mega Stones for his Latios and Latias even before Aok had announced Mega Evolution.

This was something Aok still hadn't figured out.

Unfortunately, Drayden was now imprisoned in the deepest part of the League headquarters, making him inaccessible even to Aok, let alone getting any information he wanted from him.

Drayden still harbored many secrets, such as where he obtained his Unown. And when he cut off his own hands at the end, was it truly just because his hands were stained with blood? One must remember that when he severed his hands, the Unown were on his wrists.

"And also because of your entrance, the Teleportation that only psychics can use," Wikstrom continued.

But Aok wasn't buying it at all. "Not enough. Many people in the cult can also use Teleportation. Your explanation isn't enough to convince me."

In Aok's view, how Wikstrom discovered his disguise was crucial.

Aok was always very cautious. Once he disguised himself, he would change or conceal his voice, scent, and aura. From the time he started disguising himself until now, in these past few years, Wikstrom was the first person to discover his identity.

Upon hearing this, Wikstrom's expression stiffened, finally revealing a look that seemed on the verge of tears. "If I said that I actually relied on my sixth sense and didn't fully confirm your identity, would you believe me?"

Aok was taken aback, looking at Wikstrom. Even with her red sunglasses, he could see her eyes, see her gaze.

Sixth sense?

Suddenly, Aok abruptly burst out laughing. "Hahahahaha—

I believe you! I believe you!"

Wikstrom, hearing Aok's laughter, didn't know how to explain, but then Aok said he believed her, which left her somewhat stunned.

Aok spread his hands and said, "There's nothing to be surprised about. A person's sixth sense, in essence, is also part of that person's ability.

Before my strength increased, I also trusted my sixth sense very much.

To be honest, the stronger a person's ability and the firmer their mind, the more accurate that person's sixth sense becomes.

Facts prove that your sixth sense is very accurate, isn't it?"

After hearing Aok's words, Wikstrom let out a long sigh of relief, wiping the cold sweat from her forehead.

She wasn't lying; she really hadn't confirmed Aok's identity but had tested him. If Aok had truly pressed her for a detailed explanation, she wouldn't have been able to give one.

However, immediately after, her heart tightened again.

So how should this situation be resolved?

Aok, the Sandstorm Elite Four of the Hoenn region, the most famous Aok in the entire Pokémon League, was actually the vice-leader of Team Flare, and perhaps even harbored other unspeakable secrets.

And now, this secret had been discovered by them.

From Aok's perspective, Wikstrom estimated that only by eliminating everyone in this office would he feel at ease.

The relief she had felt earlier vanished, and at the same time, a strong sense of regret welled up in Wikstrom's heart.

He was doing a good job of killing the chicken to warn the monkeys, so why did she try to expose his identity? Why did she go out of her way to try and save Xerosic's life?

Are other people's lives more important than her own?

But now it seemed to have become a dead end.

She looked towards Lysandre, who was seated at the head of the table.

Lysandre was now, arguably, the last straw for Wikstrom and the others. If he couldn't restrain Aok, then it was likely that today wouldn't end well.

But when Wikstrom looked at Lysandre, she saw that his face still carried a faint smile, as if he wasn't particularly bothered by Aok's identity, nor was he worried that Aok would kill them to silence them.

Her heart settled slightly.

"Tsk, how should I deal with you all? I originally didn't intend to reveal my identity so early." Aok's face held a faint smile, making Xerosic and the others feel a chill down their spines.

No one dared to speak. They were like fish on a chopping board, and Aok was the cleaver.

Seeing that their emotions had fluctuated enough, Aok smiled again, stood up from his seat, and, from a distance, waved a psychic energy infused with rich spatial energy towards Wikstrom's head.

This was one of the benefits he had gained from the Unown.
