As the group reached about halfway through their journey, they noticed silhouettes moving slowly in the dark forest. These figures didn't walk together like regular patrol teams but were scattered randomly, completely lacking any order. What was even more surprising was that they emitted extremely astonishing energy fluctuations, and occasionally, low growls could be heard from some of them. Their movements were erratic, as if they couldn't fully control their bodies, slow and slightly staggering.
When William and his companions saw those strange figures, their eye corners twitched involuntarily. What they feared the most had indeed appeared.
