At other times, Master Zhou would just watch, occasionally offering a few pointers as Qin Huai made various snacks. These tips were given randomly at other times, but not often, since Qin Huai was only working on very basic breakfast items recently, which didn't require many tips.
An Youyou had to arrive at Zhiwei Restaurant at 3:30 AM to help Qin Huai prepare ingredients, so her working hours ended early, usually around 4 PM, although she occasionally worked overtime until 4:30 or 5 PM, in line with the normal apprentice working hours at Zhiwei Restaurant.
Before An Youyou went back to make steamed buns, Qin Huai specifically asked Tan Wei'an to watch over her, to prevent her from making mistakes without realizing and getting further off track.
