Chapter 632: Ice Release: Chibaku Tensei
The visual of Chibaku Tensei was incredibly striking, especially on a battlefield of fire and blood. The ever-growing sphere looked like a natural disaster.
Even from a thousand meters away, Ino saw Yamanaka Fu signaling her.
She descended gracefully, landing in front of them. "Fu, I'm a little busy. What is it?"
Fu bowed, then pointed to the old man dressed like a vagrant. "Head, Lord Danzō wishes to discuss the matter of the Root shinobi with you."
Root shinobi? Ino said nothing, her gaze following his finger.
Danzō: "..."
He glanced at the massive ice sphere in the sky, which had already grown to nearly 300 meters, and at the thousands of Zetsu still being sucked into it. He wanted to submit, but his pride wouldn't let him.
The atmosphere became tense.
At the critical moment, his old partner proved reliable.
The Third Hokage's spirit emerged from Danzō's body. "Haha, little Ino! You've become so strong. I heard you're Konohamaru's teacher. We're all one big family! Konohamaru was so naughty as a child; I'm relieved he's in your care..."
He rambled on, successfully steering the conversation away from Root.
"Hmph!" Danzō instinctively tried to flick his sleeve, only realizing mid-swing that he was bare-chested. The gesture just made him look like an idiot.

"Has she always had those eyes?" she asked Konohamaru.
Konohamaru looked immensely proud. In the current ninja world, the master-student bond was no less important than blood ties; they rose and fell together.
Inoichi Yamanaka had retired hastily, and Shikaku Nara had immediately confirmed Ino as the leader of the next Ino-Shika-Chō. The Sarutobi clan had shamelessly begged her to take Konohamaru as a student. Even Koharu Utatane taking Hinata as an apprentice—it was all to get closer to Ino. Why? Because she was overwhelmingly powerful.
Konohamaru lifted his chin slightly. "Teacher said she is the reincarnation of the ancient artifact, the Kunlun Mirror, and was born with the Sage's eyes."

Konohamaru looked utterly crushed. "...Is that... really true?!"
Sakura smirked. Silly boy. You finally see that pig Ino's true face? She used all three of those lines on me. I was so happy I bought her barbecue. Then I heard the real translations from Hinata. I was depressed for a week!
Ino, unaware that Sakura was badmouthing her, dismissed Danzō and the Third Hokage and continued to maintain the Chibaku Tensei.
Hundreds, then thousands of White Zetsu were pulled into the sky, their bodies freezing in mid-air and becoming part of the sphere. As Ino poured in more chakra, the high-density ice ball began to spin faster, growing larger and larger.
A normal Chibaku Tensei had immense gravity. Worried about friendly fire, Ino had modified it, targeting only the light-boned, low-moisture Zetsu and slightly reducing its overall power.
The ninjas on the front lines—mostly Jōnin and Chūnin—were quick-witted. Though terrified, and completely unable to comprehend the principles of the jutsu, they knew one thing: Run!
The shinobi forces retreated, some abandoning entire defensive lines. The White Zetsu, left behind, were pulled into the sky.
Finally, a translucent, glittering ice sphere, over 500 meters in diameter, hovered above everyone's heads.
Ino looked around. A ball this big was hard to dispose of.
She connected with the Konoha Sensor Division, then notified the masters on the front line to get even further back. Once she was sure there would be no collateral damage, she used Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push) to slam the ice sphere down onto the Zetsu army below.
The Zetsu had no way to counter this.
"Super Light-Weighted Rock Technique!"
At the critical moment, the reanimated Second Tsuchikage suddenly flew into the sky. He placed his hands beneath the ice sphere, desperately using his jutsu to reduce its weight.
He was clearly straining, fighting both the Shinra Tensei's push and the sphere's own mass. But the silent man held on with an iron will. Under his efforts, the sphere's descent visibly slowed.
"I'll help you." The reanimated Third Kazekage raised his hands. A massive amount of Iron Sand rushed out, forming a giant hand to help the Tsuchikage support the lightened sphere.
The scene looked vaguely familiar to Ino. She immediately changed tactics. The power of her Rinnegan shot out like a thin thread, straight past the atmosphere.
A thousand years ago, the battle between Kaguya and her sons had shattered mountains and continents. Much of this debris had left the crust, but it remained trapped by the planet's gravity, forming a unique ring of asteroids in the upper atmosphere.
Effortlessly, Ino grabbed one of these asteroids—a rock over a thousand meters in diameter—adjusted its angle, and dropped it directly onto the 500-meter ice sphere.
Madara had given this jutsu a cool name: "Tengai Shinsei." Ino figured she might as well use it.
BOOM!
The Second Tsuchikage, already at his limit, couldn't withstand this impact. The Third Kazekage's Iron Sand hand disintegrated instantly. A moment later, the giant shadow completely blotted out his vision. The Light-Weighted Rock Technique failed. The Second Tsuchikage, the Third Kazekage, and over ten thousand White Zetsu were instantly pulverized, driven deep into the earth by the meteorite.
At Ino's current level, an enemy like the Second Tsuchikage was insignificant. It was just like Edo Madara toying with the Five Kage; this was no challenge for her.
The reanimated bodies of the two Kage were completely shattered. They were so thoroughly destroyed that their regeneration was slow. Before they could reform, Jiraiya slapped seven or eight sealing tags on them. The sealing-squad ninjas, braving the world-ending dust cloud, rushed in to finish the job, sealing both Kage without giving them a chance to struggle.
