Just as Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama were about to arrive at the battlefield, Obito reached the base of the God Tree first.
The roots of the God Tree that were exposed above ground alone covered an area hundreds of miles in circumference; the roots underground were even more numerous.
"Sand Tsunami!" Gaara, scouting from the air, unleashed his signature technique, but Obito merely waved his hand and dispersed the swirling yellow sand.
"Raikiri!" Kakashi charged out from the side in a surprise attack.
Obito effortlessly caught Kakashi's wrist, ignoring the Lightning Release chakra in his hand. With a lift of his arm, he threw the Copy Ninja away upside down.
With a mere thought, two vines shot out from the base of the God Tree in the distance, looking to ensnare Kakashi and devour his chakra.
Sasuke, who had been busy trying to chop down the tree, quickly activated his Susanoo. He caught Kakashi first, then swung his hand to sever the vines. Afterward, the purple Susanoo drew its bow, firing an arrow wreathed in black flames straight at Obito.
Obito swung his ten-plus-meter-long double-helix giant sword and cut down the arrow Sasuke had formed with 'Kagutsuchi'.
He looked down on Sasuke smugly and condescendingly.
"Susanoo? It seems I can use that jutsu now, too." A blind Mangekyo is still a Mangekyo.
After receiving guidance from Zetsu, a faint light emanated from Obito's eyes, and a cyan-blue Susanoo roared into existence.
Fueled by the Ten-Tails' chakra, even though he had only just grasped this ultimate technique, he was able to manifest the Susanoo in its perfect form.

Sasuke thought for a moment and gave a slight nod.
Gaara gritted his teeth. Except for the portion needed to sustain his life, he poured all the remaining One-Tail chakra within him into the Yata Mirror.
This spiritual tool, a shield obtained from Uchiha Itachi, instantly radiated a thick, yellow light. The purple cursed seal markings of the One-Tail also appeared along the shield's edge.
"Finish these guys off quickly. We don't have much time," Zetsu reminded Obito.
"Shut your mouth!" Obito retorted, his face filled with hostility, like a madman.
The first clash between the two giant Susanoo set off a deafening shockwave.
The purple Susanoo, with its sword and shield, blocked two consecutive slashes from the cyan-blue Susanoo. Not a single scratch was left on the shield's surface; it could truly be called indestructible.
Sasuke fought with great composure, continuously parrying with the shield and looking for openings to counterattack.
In comparison, the Susanoo controlled by Obito was rather frenzied.
Wielding dual swords and taking advantage of its superior height, it rained down a flurry of seemingly undisciplined slashes, as fast as lightning.
Seeing that Sasuke's defense was impenetrable, he infused the Susanoo with Kamui, and the cyan-blue Susanoo launched two shuriken carrying the power of Kamui.
The power of this move was immense.
With a sharp 'crack,' a huge fissure was carved into the shield that was coated with One-Tail chakra. The Yata Mirror possessed the property of reflecting all physical attacks, but Obito's power now exceeded the spiritual tool's reflection limit. Moreover, Kamui was not a traditional physical ability, and the tool was severely damaged.
Sasuke maneuvered the purple Susanoo to dodge sideways. The second Kamui shuriken grazed the Susanoo's shoulder and sliced diagonally through a distant mountain peak.
Obito seemed to relish the feeling of trampling a genius underfoot, venting all the humiliation he had suffered at Ino's hands onto Sasuke. His assault was incredibly fierce, each move faster than the last.
Zetsu watched on coldly, secretly calculating the total amount of chakra the God Tree had absorbed.
Sasuke tried to match Obito's patience, aiming for a defensive counterattack, but unfortunately, the power gap between them was just too wide.
Even with the spiritual tool, the One-Tail's chakra, and the support of a group of shinobi led by Kakashi, he was still beaten back relentlessly.
After fighting a high-level battle against Ino, coming back to fight Kakashi and Sasuke was simply a walk in the park. With little effort, he defeated the allied forces of Konoha and Iwagakure.
Sasuke's chakra and visual prowess were over-exhausted, and he passed out.
Obito floated in mid-air, feeling utterly refreshed. He completely ignored the defeated soldiers below, focusing on his conversation with Zetsu inside his body.
"Madara said the Rinnegan is needed to activate the Eye of the Moon. Should I transplant his eyes now?"
The so-called Eye of the Moon was a colossal lie. Was the Rinnegan needed? For Zetsu, it was completely unnecessary!
Never mind the Rinnegan; even a Mangekyo, a three-magatama, or a Byakugan would have worked.
The key was the Ten-Tails, the vessel for Kaguya Otsutsuki's revival. What specific eyes you had? That was truly inconsequential.
