Chapter 621 - Chapter 621: Admission Notice

Ethan was a bit disappointed that Atlanna was not pregnant, or at least Logan had not seen any signs of pregnancy in her.

Of course, it was possible that Atlanna herself did not know when Logan left, or knew but had not had time to tell him. However, without concrete news, they could only assume it did not exist for now.

"What a shame..."

Ethan had been looking forward to Atlanna and Logan having a new Aquaman. Considering Logan's current abilities combined with Atlantean royal blood, how powerful would the resulting Aquaman be?

Looking at Logan's current situation, was there not still a chance in the future?

"Let's not talk about that for now. By the way, did I miss your preparation work earlier?"

Taking advantage of the free time, Ethan explained the preparation work he had been doing recently and why he was doing it.

Hearing that getting into Hogwarts was so troublesome, Logan thought he might have missed something.

"Whatever, I'll just hang around for a few years."

He did not really want to go to any school to learn magic. Although he was actually a decent druid, and his own magic power was not weak, he definitely qualified for Hogwarts.

"This problem is easy to solve. We can just say we recently moved to the UK..."

It would be best to set birth records and such in North America, preferably in a remote Canadian mountain valley. That way, it would be difficult to investigate Logan's information.

"Is it that simple?"

"It was not difficult to begin with, just a bit troublesome."

Having done this kind of preliminary information groundwork several times, they were already very familiar with it. Logan's information was all set up within three days, during which they even made a trip to North America to leave corresponding identity records locally.

By this point, all preliminary preparations could be considered complete. Afterward, Ethan gathered the people who were ready to enter the Harry Potter world and led everyone to travel together.

The time was set half a year before Harry Potter received his acceptance letter, giving everyone some time to adapt to life there.

Although it was modern Britain, it was Britain in the late 20th century, not the early 21st century that everyone was more familiar with.

Here, many living habits were different from later times. For those like Evelyn who were purely there for fun, it did not matter, but Ethan and the others needed to start adapting to this era now.

At the same time, they also had to adapt to their identities in this world. For example, Rin was a child left behind by a couple from Asia whose parents had an accident and was subsequently adopted by Selene.

"Why am I the one who got adopted?"

"Because there is no one here who can pretend to be your parents."

Ethan spread his hands. There was nothing else they could do. With Rin's purely Asian appearance, she could not even pretend to be mixed-race.

Ada, the only one who could pretend to be her relative, was having a great time in the Starship Troopers world and was not willing to come over at all.

"Hmm..."

Rin looked around and saw that everyone was Western. llya was actually mixed-race too, but her appearance was more like her mother's.

Others like Leah, Logan, and Scáthach did not require much effort either. In the end, O'Connell, Evelyn, and Selene respectively acted as guardians for the children, and then, as neighbors, Selene was entrusted with the care of this large group of kids.

This was how they reasonably came together.

"Also, to make your adoption logical, we are distantly related."

"Why make it so complicated?"

"To prevent being bothered by some people."

The people at the Ministry of Magic were not good at doing proper work, but they were experts at being annoying. Ethan did not want to cause any trouble this time, nor did he want to argue with the world or the air in between.

At the same time, he did not think he was good-tempered enough to tolerate idiots bothering him, so the best way was to avoid these things happening.

Of course, if those fools were blind enough to pick a fight, Ethan would not tolerate being wronged. Voldemort, whom they greatly feared, was just a little brother in Ethan's eyes. If he really got angry, making the entire wizarding world disappear was not impossible.

Rin thought about how Ethan had previously twisted the rules of an entire world, and the magecraft world that originally existed in their world had suffered a severe blow.

Even though this distortion was not permanent, Rin was not an outsider like Shirou who had no contact with the magecraft world. She still had her own channels, including the procurement of various magical materials and news about the magecraft world.

She knew how much impact Ethan's rule distortion had on the entire magecraft world. Several small magecraft families had their inheritances completely destroyed and were cut off from the magecraft world entirely.

Medium-sized families were also severely affected. Although large families were not fundamentally harmed, it did not mean they suffered no losses.

It could be said that the entire magecraft world was wailing in despair. What was worse was that they had no idea what was happening and thought the twilight of magecraft had arrived.

If Ethan got angry and did it again here...

Time slowly passed again, and everyone gradually began to adapt to life in this world. Except for Logan, who could not smoke and had to constantly carry a pile of snacks to eat non-stop, everyone else was doing fine.

Amidst this calm waiting, owls from Hogwarts finally appeared outside the doors of the several households and left the Hogwarts acceptance letters.

Ethan picked one up, feeling very curious about one thing.

If a wizarding family received such an acceptance letter, there was naturally nothing to say. They would just take their child to Diagon Alley to buy the necessary things.

But what about Muggle families? They would just treat it as a prank, right?

Even if owls kept delivering letters afterward, these Muggles would realize something was unusual, but they would not know how to solve the problem. Parents who were completely clueless would not be able to find the place to buy the necessary items for their children even if they wanted to.

The children gathered together, looking at the letters in their hands. The contents were almost identical, with only the names at the beginning corresponding to their names in this world.

Rin used her real name. Since she was adopted, keeping her original surname was normal.

Ethan and Selene used the surname Arendelle, which he had used in Starship Troopers. Neither of them had a surname, and they needed to have a relative relationship, so they both used this one.

Logan used his surname Howlett, and his guardian was O'Connell. Nominally, Logan was the child of O'Connell's sister. After his sister and brother-in-law died in an accident, he adopted his nephew.

Because of this, Logan was often teased by O'Connell, making him so angry that he wanted to claw him several times.

Scáthach and Leah were the children of Evelyn's siblings, using the siblings' surname Carnahan.

Illya had her own surname. Her identity was that of a child from Selene's distant relatives, temporarily staying with her. The letter also used the surname Einzbern.

"This acceptance letter is very detailed about what needs to be prepared, but where are we supposed to get these things?"

Everyone turned their gaze to Ethan. At this moment, he was also repeatedly examining the letter, confirming that it was just an ordinary letter with no special magic hidden on it to show them how to get to Diagon Alley.

"What are you looking at me for?" He lowered his head and noticed everyone staring at him. "I know where to buy them, but I don't know the way."

The children stared at each other for a while, wondering if this so-called magic school trip was going to be stillborn just like this.

Fortunately, the people at Hogwarts would not do something so unreliable. Just then, Ethan sensed the appearance of energy fluctuations outside and immediately winked at everyone, gesturing for them not to speak carelessly.

A knock on the door soon came. Selene, the only one remaining here as a guardian, went to open it.

Compared to her usual bright and captivating appearance, Selene deliberately dressed ordinarily and looked a bit older this time. Coupled with an authentic British accent, she looked like an ordinary middle-aged woman who was once very beautiful but whose dazzling radiance had been worn away by time and life.

Opening the door, Selene saw a very old woman. After glancing at Selene, the woman immediately introduced herself.

"Hello, I am Minerva McGonagall, the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts. I have come to explain some things to the children who have received acceptance letters from our school and their parents."

"Ah, hello."

Selene acted like an ordinary person, showing doubt and some wariness, and scrutinized Professor McGonagall in front of her with a judging gaze.

This was not special treatment for Professor McGonagall. Over the years, when introducing Hogwarts and magic to some Muggle families, she always encountered such reactions, and some extreme people would even choose to call the police directly.

"May I see the children?"

"Before that, I have some things I would like to ask you."

"No problem, I will explain everything clearly."

Next was Selene's performance time. Honestly, her acting was not very good. Ethan, who watched the entire conversation between Selene and Professor McGonagall with magic, complained inwardly about Selene's acting skills while also observing Professor McGonagall's magical level.

He was a bit surprised that Hogwarts would send the dignified Deputy Headmistress and Head of Gryffindor, Professor McGonagall, in person. Had his explosive talent already attracted Dumbledore's attention?

Listening further, he realized that McGonagall had come in person because several new students from Muggle families were gathered together. This situation had never been encountered before, so she made a special trip to see if there was some kind of plot.
