"Ehhh~! But I don't want to do that, Tsunade no Baa-chan!" Naruto grumbled as he placed his hands behind his head and closed his eyes, giving him a fox-like appearance.
"Brat!" Tsunade slammed her fist on the desk and glared at Naruto in annoyance. "You had several days off because of your commitment. You have to get back to work!"
"No, that's not the problem. I don't mind working; in fact, I like it, you know that. The problem is the mission you're giving me," Naruto crossed his arms in annoyance.
"Besides, you also had days off because of my commitment! And don't hide it, you drank more than everyone else combined that night!"
"It can't be helped, I'm the Hokage. Besides, I deserved a break. And when you combine sake, a party, and Hiashi's annoyed expressions, then you can enjoy the night."
"He still gets angry when I call him father or father-in-law... Hahahaha!" Naruto laughed heartily as he raised his head.
"I can't believe how silly that was," Tsunade couldn't resist; she let out a laugh while rubbing her forehead. Hiashi didn't want Naruto with his daughter. And the two in the office knew it wasn't just because he was Naruto, but that Hiashi simply didn't want his daughter to have a boyfriend yet, maybe ever. That was the kind of father Hiashi was, extremely strict, but deep down, he loved his daughter more than anyone.
In the end, he used the engagement letter as a means to push Naruto away, thinking he wouldn't be able to handle being engaged so soon. Well, it backfired. In fact, Naruto didn't know what being engaged was until Tsunade explained things to him.
Being with the girl he loved his entire life wasn't a bad idea for Naruto.
Well, that was him, someone who could be really naive and affectionate when it came to love.
"Ah!" Tsunade exclaimed, noticing what Naruto was doing. "Brat! Don't change the subject!"
"Ugh..." Naruto slowly rolled his eyes, looking at all the paperwork on Tsunade's desk. There were also piles of papers on the floor! That was hell! He was sure that even with clones he wouldn't be able to finish in a day.
"Kukuku..." Tsunade laughed sinisterly at Naruto's scared expression.
"Come on. You want to be Hokage, right? Then accept the mission! I'll teach you how to do the job!"
"Don't tempt me!" Naruto cried in fear. He wanted to be Hokage, and Tsunade was tasking him with completing the paperwork while she taught him what to do, what to sign, what not to sign, what to accept, and what to leave aside.
"Let's go~..." Tsunade encouraged him further, causing Naruto to shift from side to side, nervous and fearful. In the end, he nodded slowly, causing Tsunade to stand up and push him into the seat before placing the Hokage hat on his head.
"Damn..."
.....
Hiashi, who had a frown on his face, walked through the Hyuuga clan compound. No one bothered him as he walked, he seemed annoyed. And although he wore a frown almost every day, some were more relaxed than others. This time, he was thinking about everything related to his daughter.
Ever since Uzumaki Naruto had entered her life, his daughter, Hinata, had begun to train much more seriously. That was splendid. At least now he could see the potential in Hinata that he always knew she had, but hadn't used.
Every day they trained for at least two hours, even Neji and Hanabi joined in from time to time. And, truth be told, he was surprised by how strong Naruto was. The boy was capable of incredible speeds; he had even seen him use the Hiraishin no Jutsu a few times to visit Hinata. And if that weren't enough, he was a Mokuton user, if the rumors were true.
"That brat... how is he still a Genin?" Hiashi's frown deepened.
"Otou-sama?"
"Mm?" Turning his head, Hiashi realized he was near the main kitchen. He saw his daughter holding a bento box and looked curiously.
"A bento?"
"It's for Naruto-kun. He sent a clone a few hours ago, saying he couldn't make it today. It seems Tsunade-sama asked him for help with something in her office. I thought I might get something to eat; it's a little late after all," Hinata replied with a small smile, causing her father's eyebrow to twitch in annoyance.
"Hinata, do you know why Naruto is still a genin?" Hiashi decided to ask his daughter about the topic that had been bothering him for a few minutes.
"Huh?... Well..." Hinata tilted her head, a little puzzled by her father's question, but answered what she knew anyway: "Perhaps it's due to all of Tsunade-sama's work. I mean, Naruto-kun defeated Orochimaru on a mission, and also Kabuto, his closest subordinate. And from what he told me, he also did the same to Danzo, who had attacked him recently. Tsunade-sama probably hasn't had time to file the proper reports for her promotion."
"I see..." Hiashi nodded, a little surprised, though he didn't show it. Defeating Orochimaru was no small feat. And as for Danzo, she'd heard a few things.
"Then go, and give my regards to Hokage-sama," Hiashi turned and continued on his way, leaving his daughter blinking before he smiled a little and left to go to the Hokage's office.
However, when she finally arrived and the door was opened, Hinata became concerned when she saw Naruto with a pale face. She knew the job of Hokage wasn't easy, but even she was surprised after Naruto had only done paperwork for half a day.
"Brat, it seems your future wife is coming to deliver your food," Hinata blushed at what Tsunade said, but took two steps forward and handed Naruto the bento.
"Thank you very much, Hinata-chan," Naruto smiled, now more animated.
"My father sends his regards."
"Greetings? Not just Tsunade Obaa-chan?"
Hinata shook her head. "He won't admit it, but the greeting is for you two."
"Hiashi-dono might be the most tsundere person in the village. But that didn't come out of my mouth," Tsunade smiled before sipping from her sake glass.
Hinata just smiled wryly, because she couldn't deny such a thing. But her father would flatly deny it, and he would feel insulted.
"I have a question..." Naruto muttered after swallowing some karage.
"What?" Tsunade looked at him, curious as to what Naruto might ask.
"Why exactly did you give me this mission? It's practically torture!"
Tsunade stared at him for a few moments, without answering the question. She put down her sake glass and stood up, placing her hands on her knees. She simply smiled and walked over to the desk, opening a drawer and taking out two papers before throwing them onto the desk, right in front of Naruto.
Naruto and Hinata blinked as they noticed the writing at the top of one of the documents.

Naruto dropped his chopsticks when he finished reading everything.
"Congratulations, Naruto-kun!" Hinata exclaimed, surprised and happy at her fiancé's achievement.
"A-Am I a Tokujou... ttebayo?"
(A/N: Tokujou is short for Tokubetsu Jonin)
"You deserve it, Naruto. Since you returned from your training with Jiraiya, you've done many good things. The confrontation with Orochimaru was just a demonstration of how strong you've become."
"Now you just have to train better and learn how to plan things to reach the rank of Jonin. After all, you'd need to command squads properly if you want to be a Jonin."
"Thank you..." Naruto looked at Tsunade, surprised, but more than anything, grateful.
"What are you talking about? Thanking me isn't even appropriate with all the suffering I'll put you through from now on!"
"....Huh?"
"Um... Tsunade-sama, what do you mean by that?" Hinata decided to ask, seeing Naruto's confused expression. Although she had a feeling, it wasn't good to jump to conclusions.
Tsunade just smiled and placed her hand on Naruto's head before squeezing it a little tightly, causing Naruto to fidget.
"This brat has become too powerful, to the point where he's caught the attention of some people inside and outside the village. For that reason, I'll teach him what it takes to be a Hokage until he takes over after my retirement. That will keep him from having to do too many missions outside the village, and he'll also get some training and learning; it's two birds with one stone."
"Naruto-kun... will he be... Hokage?"
"I'll become Hokage-ttebayo!?"
They were both equally surprised, especially Naruto. Yes, Hokage was his dream, but he didn't think he'd become one so soon.
Tsunade brought her face a little closer to Naruto's and smiled terrifyingly.
"I understand you learn some things pretty quickly, Naruto. Then hurry up and take my position, brat. I'll give it to you, come on."
Naruto began to sweat as he looked at all the paperwork around him. But he gritted his teeth; he wouldn't back down from his words. That was Uzumaki Naruto. Although he was already thinking of some things to make this paperwork less of a burden in his future job.
Tsunade was about to laugh, but she frowned, as did Naruto. Hinata looked at them in confusion, especially when they turned their heads to look out the window, as if they were seeing or sensing something.
"What's wrong?"
"Something just appeared in the village," Naruto said seriously.
"Tsunade Baa-chan, I'll go see."
"Be careful," Naruto nodded before opening the window and jumping out, leaving Hinata a little worried.
Naruto jumped up and ran across the rooftops as he approached the extremely large chakra. He could sense two people, one with a great chakra and the other with a lesser chakra. When he finally arrived, he leaped with force to stand behind these two people, over a pool of water on a rooftop.
"Who are you?!"
The two people, now identified as an adult and a child, turned around and were surprised to see Naruto.
"Uchiha?" Naruto narrowed his eyes dangerously as he looked at the black-haired man, whose hairstyle hid one of his eyes. He was wearing a black cloak that mostly covered one of his arms. The boy was blond, wearing a black jacket and pants with a red stripe on the shoulders of his jacket.
"Will you not answer?"
"Good!" Naruto exclaimed before unleashing the power of his chakra. A purple aura surrounded him as the pool he was standing in ruptured, releasing jets of water. The roof of the building began to shake as the pressure increased.
"Looks like it'll have to be done the hard way..."
"Wait!" the man raised a hand, exclaiming at Naruto.
"We'll answer your questions, but I'd rather do it in a safer place. There's an enemy we need to find."
"Enemy? How strong?"
"Enough to defeat Kyuubi, all alone."
Naruto raised his head slightly, examining these two. He couldn't sense any lies from them; he knew they were speaking the truth. But he couldn't be careless either.
"You'll follow me to the Hokage's office. No discussions."
"Fine, do as you wish," the man nodded before Naruto gave them another look. But in a flash, he created five clones without the need for seals. Naruto instructed them to follow the two clones, with the rest on either side and one behind. Naruto would be last, preventing them from escaping too easily.
