Chapter 424 - CHAPTER 424 - Exposed Right from the Start

"BOSS, the ones who were shipwrecked are ordinary shipwrights. They also want to become pirates. They said that when the Marines were chasing pirates before, they got caught up in it, and their friends all died. I see they seem to have some skills, and their ship repair techniques are pretty good. Maybe we could give Enel a small team, since the new ship is quite large."

After a moment, Bonez walked in and suggested.

Right now, the moment Lucci and the others had boarded the ship, they were surrounded by Natalie and the others. After all, they couldn't be sure if they were hostile or not.

Lucci pretended not to care as he scanned the area, noticing that many of the officers present had bounties of two to three hundred million Berries. While he wasn't afraid of one or two of them individually, there were certainly more than just one or two right now.

If they were discovered, the trouble would be immense.

"Kalifa, how are you? Are you okay?" Kaku asked, holding Kalifa, who had just worsened her own injury.

Because the injury was fresh, she looked quite pitiful. Their main reason for doing this was to create an opportunity for themselves to stay. After all, even among the Dawn Pirates, according to the information they had, there were some people with conscience and compassion.

Also, it was common knowledge that people of value were often captured by pirates to become pirates themselves. And beautiful women? They were even less likely to be let go. Even in Water 7, Kalifa's looks were top-tier. For the mission, nothing was off-limits.

They had mentally prepared themselves before coming.

"Oh my... it's them." Robin was on the small balcony and saw Lucci and the others, feeling quite surprised.

Perhaps Lucci and his companions didn't know it themselves, but when Robin was searching for the Pluton blueprints in Water 7, she had observed them carefully.

If Robin's guess was correct, these should all be government intelligence agents.

Now they wanted to board their ship? This was getting interesting.

"You know them?" Rosen was surprised. He walked to the balcony, took a look, and well, he recognized them too. Former CP9 members. But why were there only three?

"BOSS knows them too?" Robin saw Rosen's expression and was also surprised.

"CP9 members. Looks like the Marines find us troublesome too, trying to break us from the inside. They really will stop at nothing. Seems we need to be more cautious from now on." Rosen said seriously to Robin after a moment of silence.

He recognized these people. The struggle on the seas was never just about face-to-face combat.

These underhanded tactics also needed to be guarded against. Entrusting this task to Robin was perfect, as her abilities allowed her to monitor someone completely silently.

"Marine agents? I'll go deal with them." Bonez's expression changed slightly. After all, he had just been thinking about recruiting these talents.

"No rush, let me think..." Rosen waved his hand. Even if they drove Lucci and the others away now, the World Government or the Marines probably wouldn't give up easily. They might even send more infiltrators.

And if there were suitable talents, Rosen wouldn't refuse them. Especially once they reached the New World, it would be a game of mutual maneuvering and crushing between powers. With their current crew of less than a hundred, they had no advantage.

So instead of keeping people with unknown backgrounds, it might be better to keep them for now and thoroughly exploit their value.

Besides, they might be useful for sending false information at a critical moment.

"We're not killing them?" Hathaway was puzzled. Since they knew they were enemy infiltrators, why not act?

"Is there a way to completely control their external communication?" Rosen suddenly asked Robin.

"That depends on the situation. If they still value their lives and don't have intelligence that's too valuable, it wouldn't be difficult to control their communication methods if we intend to. But if they're willing to risk everything, our location could still be exposed." Robin replied after thinking.

"Alright, that's enough. For now, treat them as sailors and shipwrights. They just boarded, so if we assign a few people to watch them, they probably won't get suspicious." Rosen decided to secretly keep CP9 under control.

He'd keep them for a suitable opportunity to use against the World Government. But they couldn't be allowed to notice. They'd have to feed them some less important information from time to time.

"Okay, we'll do as BOSS says. I don't think they'll be able to cause much trouble." Robin said with a confident smile.

"Your strength has increased, and you're more confident than before." Rosen shook his head with a smile but didn't argue. This was a good thing. Right now, even if Lucci and his two companions teamed up, they probably wouldn't be a match for Robin.

Besides, Robin was the only one on the ship with two Devil Fruit abilities. Her monitoring abilities were also exceptional.

And so, Lucci and his group "smoothly" became lower-level members of the New Dawn. The name Pluton was too conspicuous, so Rosen continued using the previous name.

"It's a shame we didn't get to see Crocodile. No chance to get close to him yet." After being led by Bonez to their large room, Kalifa said with slight regret as she sat on the sofa.

They had checked the area. No surveillance or listening devices.

This Dawn Pirates were really extravagant. This sofa was far more comfortable than the one in Iceburg's office. And the decorations too, all high-end goods.

"No rush. There will be plenty of opportunities. Don't contact the outside world for the time being. Before we integrate into this pirate crew, we need to lay low." Lucci said calmly.

No wonder the higher-ups wanted them to infiltrate. Just the dangerous individuals they had sensed numbered over five or six. There were also a few who were not weaker than him.

"Mm-hmm."

Little did Rob Lucci and his team know, the moment they boarded the ship, they were already exposed, dooming all their subsequent efforts to be in vain.

"Everyone settled in?" Rosen asked Bonez.

"All settled. Their rooms are surrounded by Law, Mr. 5, and me. Nothing should go wrong."

"Then tell Enel to speed up and shake off Garp and the others. We're far enough from the Andia Kingdom now. Let's beat them to the Sabaody Archipelago, coat the ship, and then head to Fish-Man Island." Rosen ordered.

"We still need coating? I remember Enel said this ship should be fine diving ten thousand meters." Robin looked at Rosen, puzzled.

"An extra layer of protection as a precaution. Besides, if it's completely sealed, we won't have a direct visual on the situation outside the sea. With a coating, it's easier to sightsee and stay aware of our surroundings. Remember to prepare plenty of bubble coats for individual movement. The situation under the sea isn't necessarily safe."

"Fish-Man Island? That legendary island should be quite interesting." Hathaway was somewhat looking forward to it.

By nightfall, the Dawn had completely shaken off Garp and the others. A party was held on the ship for the new vessel, with plenty of food and drink. Hathaway and Robin also had some alcohol. They anchored in the sea not far from the Sabaody Archipelago.

At night, no one usually knew where the ship was, but once daylight came, or if they made contact with the island, they probably wouldn't escape the notice of Marine Headquarters' bases and informants in various locations. But this was expected; it was the fate of pirates.

The party was lively. Having more people had its advantages. However, Rosen trusted the original group the most. Law and Urouge would need some more time to integrate.

As the party wound down, Law approached Rosen. Rosen placed the already prepared intelligence in front of him. "This is all the information on Doflamingo. It should be more detailed than what you know. I'll explain the detailed operation to everyone tomorrow. While Doflamingo's strength is not insignificant, he's not the main problem. The problem is Kaido. Also, we need to take over their territories as much as possible, not just destroy them. I hope you understand..."
