Chapter 435 - Lucario's Flash Step

Lucario's eyes narrowed in focus as he gripped the bone stick tightly.

His figure blurred like a ghost and vanished in an instant.

Suddenly, countless droplets of poisonous liquid erupted into the air, resembling purple fireworks lighting up the sky.

But the venomous spray was an illusion, it only brushed past Lucario's afterimage.

His movements were incredibly fast.

When he reappeared, it was behind the toxic cloud, skillfully avoiding the massive explosion and the venom's attack.

With steady footing, Lucario swung the bone stick fiercely, like a seasoned swordsman unleashing a blade of light.

The bone stick effortlessly sliced through a cluster of flying poison without resistance.

Although the stick emitted a crackling sound as it corroded, Lucario immediately gained 197 units of aura from the strike.

The poisonous liquid burst on impact, the venom falling to the ground like rain.

Where it landed, the purple poison corroded a large pit in the earth, wisps of white smoke rising from the scorched soil.

Lucario's hand trembled slightly as most of the venom clinging to the bone stick was shaken off.

Watching this, everyone swallowed nervously, amazed by Lucario's speed but also terrified of the poison's lethal power.

Ordinary people who touched it would instantly be reduced to a pool of blood.

Even those with nen abilites, capable of defending themselves with aura, wouldn't dare risk direct contact.

No one was willing to gamble with their life.

While most stood frozen in fear, a few remained calm, but only one showed a different expression.

Lilith, dressed in pink, tapped her lips thoughtfully with a finger, her voice tinged with curiosity and even desire.

"It looks... delicious?" she mused aloud.

The battle ahead was fierce, but here it was relatively quiet, making her words stand out sharply.

Everyone turned to look at her, their eyes a mix of helplessness and expectation.

Lilith lightly covered her mouth, waved her hand awkwardly, and whispered,

"But it really looks tasty..."

Ging, the cheeky one, pretended to ponder and said,

"Well... maybe it does taste good? After all, nobody knows until they try it."

He glanced at the clear purple venom from a distance and immediately thought of something similar from his own experience.

Ging scratched his head and chuckled.

"Haha, maybe it tastes like purple grapes?"

His unusual way of thinking made people furrow their brows in confusion.

Even if the venom really did taste like grapes, who would willingly eat poison?

Except for Lilith.

For most people, the deadly poison they avoided at all costs was seen as a rare delicacy to her.

But unfortunately, she didn't yet have the strength to handle it.

Thinking this, a flicker of disappointment crossed Lilith's eyes, not just because she couldn't taste the "delicacy" right away, but also because she felt weak.

If she were stronger and more resistant, she might be able to safely consume the venom.

But with her current abilities, forcing herself would only cause harm, essentially, it would be suicide.

Meanwhile, the Flame Explosion Titan faced the two approaching arms and let out its first roar.

However, instead of sounding fierce and dominant, the roar was filled with panic and confusion, reflecting its retreat and growing fear.

Hearing this, the Toxic Titan's eyes flickered, and it began to pull back countless scattered venom particles, writhing as it reformed into its original, smaller shape.

The venom lost was the part dispersed by the wave missile and the rapid movement.

This was a clear sign of retreat.

The Toxic Titan realized it had no chance of winning and decided to head deeper into the cave to seek help.

Though defeat was certain, it firmly believed that those dwelling in the depths could drive off the invaders.

As for these two...

Suddenly, the Toxic Titan turned and sprinted towards the cave's depths at a speed that didn't match its size, constantly scanning its surroundings with peripheral vision.

Hearing the Pyroblast Titan's cry, the Ordinary Silver Titan hesitated briefly, then dispersed its gathered aura and rushed to assist.

But the Pyroblast Titan wasn't exactly pleased to see the Silver Titan come to its aid, it knew only the Toxic Titan could save it.

That roar had been a call for help, communicated in the same way Stone Titans did.

Others didn't catch on, but Larry and the others exchanged worried frowns.

"Did you notice something?" Ging asked casually.

Surprise flickered across Beyond's rugged, scarred face, his features twitching slightly.

"Hmm... I didn't expect this. It's actually that smart? It even has its own language system and can communicate with sounds. Is it asking for help?" he muttered.

In just a moment, several of them pieced together what the three giants across from them were thinking.

The red giant was likely scared of the two arms flying toward him and, unable to dodge, was calling for backup from his companions.

The silver giant hesitated briefly before rushing in to assist.

Meanwhile, the purple giant didn't join the fight but pulled back, retreating deeper into the area.

"Overall, that's right, the red one's asking for help. It looks like the poisonous giant is the smartest of the bunch," Larry observed quietly, glancing at the purple giant as it fled.

"Not only does it understand strategy, but it also knows when to make the right choices."

The scene felt like a player betraying teammates in a game.

At the same time, as the Flame Explosion Titan tried to avoid looking directly at the advancing arms, the two massive arms controlled by wave power shot straight forward.

They flew like huge missiles, red lights flashing on them, like Ultraman's timer.

But unlike Ultraman's timer signaling the end, this "time" was something else entirely.

The Flame Explosion Titan didn't understand why it couldn't dodge no matter how hard it tried, but one thing was clear...

"Boom!"

The two arms slammed into the Flame Explosion Titan with a deafening explosion.

In an instant, it was like witnessing a volcanic eruption, a fierce blaze of fire and smoke exploding outward like a massive bomb.

A towering column of flames shot into the air, filling the vast passage with bright fireworks before suddenly turning into a sea of fire.

Then, an overwhelming shockwave radiated

rushed out like a tidal wave, pounding everything around it. Even the silver giant, who had rushed in to help, was caught in the blast.

It barely lasted a moment before its tough body was torn apart and exploded.

The silver remains of the two giants scattered like meteorites, trailing smoke as they flew in all directions.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

One after another, huge rocks slammed mercilessly into the barrier before being flung outward, shaking the entire area.

Lucario stood tall and proud in front of everyone, like an unbreakable guardian blocking the way. Not even a single stone could get past it.

The smoke from the explosion was completely contained, unable to spread beyond its reach.
