Around three days later, Julian had fully explored the Ursa's Ring, and just as he had guessed earlier, he didn't find a single Ultimate treasure—not even any sub-Ultimate treasures.
The "drop rate" in the Ursa's Ring was indeed much lower than in other areas.
However, the overall strength of the Pokémon here was significantly higher than elsewhere. Over these few days of exploration, Julian had already discovered ten Pseudo-Champion level Pokémon, not to mention the over sixty Elite-level ones—an astonishing number.
So unless one had Pseudo-Champion tier strength, it was best not to come here, and even then, it should be at the peak of Pseudo-Champion level. Otherwise, if you were just at the early-stage, the danger was still quite high.
These ten Pseudo-Champion Pokémon had pretty much divided up most of the Ursa's Ring, with the strongest being that Bewear.
On the fourth day, Julian had already left the Ursa's Ring and arrived at a completely new area.
But after flying for most of the day, Julian didn't see any Pokémon in this mountainous forest region.
"It looks like we've already reached the King's Domain of the Crimson Mirelands," Julian remarked.
This scene was just like the Grandtree Arena of Kleavor before—there wasn't a single Pokémon in the entire King's Domain.
Now this region also didn't have a single Pokémon. If it were a normal place, that would definitely be impossible, so this region must be the King's Domain of the Crimson Mirelands—the Brava Arena.
And from what he had learned from several Pseudo-Champion Pokémon in other areas, their king was a Lilligant.
"Finally!"
Suddenly, a huge red dot appeared on the Dowsing Machine.
This was undoubtedly a World-class treasure.
"Julian, how about you give this treasure to me? If I use it, I can definitely take that Bewear down!"
Celebi stared at the red dot on the Dowsing Machine, its eyes filled with anticipation as it looked at Julian.
It seemed this guy still had some pride, knowing that dignity and reputation had to be earned back by oneself. Even though Lucario had defeated the opponent, in the end, it wasn't Celebi's own victory.
"Sure, but you can't eat fried chicken, fries, cola, milk tea, chips, spicy food, or barbecue for a year."
"Never mind, I don't want it anymore. Better give it to a someone who needs it more."
Celebi quickly shook its head. No way—going a year without fried chicken? It couldn't even last three days. Giving up that would be harder than quitting drugs.
And on top of not having fried chicken, it couldn't eat any of the other stuff either? What kind of life would that even be?
What World-class treasure—could it possibly compare to its ultimate couch potato combo of fried chicken, fries, and cola?
When it whipped out that combo, no treasure in the world could hold a candle to it.
Julian's expression remained unchanged, but inside, he scoffed. How did a useless slob like you even have the nerve to want a World-class treasure?
But if he had rejected it outright, this guy would definitely have thrown a tantrum, so it was best to let Celebi give up on its own.
"Celebi, why didn't you agree?"
Jirachi's voice carried a hint of disappointment, subtle but unmistakable to Celebi.
"Hmph, Jirachi, are you thinking that if I agreed, all the snacks in Gengar's stash would be yours, and no one would compete with you for fried chicken and fries anymore?"
Celebi snorted. It knew exactly what its little buddy was scheming.
"I didn't think that!"
Jirachi panicked as its little plan was exposed but tried to play it cool with a calm shake of its head. Sadly, its acting skills were seriously lacking.
Even Nebby could tell it was faking and let out soft giggles.
Ignoring Celebi and Jirachi, Julian was rapidly closing in on the World-class treasure.
In a few minutes, he arrived right above the location of the red dot.
"Hidden inside a mountain..."
In front of him stood a small mountain, roughly three to four hundred meters tall, and according to the Dowsing Machine, the World-class treasure was inside this mountain.
"Steelix."
As the Poké Ball opened, a massive Steelix over ten meters long emerged. Julian tossed the Dowsing Machine to it, and Steelix immediately caught it in its mouth.
"Find that thing," Julian said.
Steelix was already familiar with this routine, and with a nod, it burrowed straight into the mountain.
"Metagross, keep an eye on the surroundings," Julian added.
It wasn't that he feared other Pokémon—he was just wary of that Lilligant. As the King of this region, it had probably already sensed his presence.
He also didn't know about this Lilligant's temperament. If it played dirty and launched a sneak attack—
A Champion-level Pokémon ambushing him, especially one with the King form—if it succeeded, he might really be done for.
"Meta~"
Metagross nodded. Even without Julian's reminder, it had already extended its psychic senses outward, as long as any Pokémon entered its perception range, there was absolutely no way it could escape.
"If this World-class treasure is hidden like the Dragon Soul was, Steelix might not be able to find it."
Julian muttered to himself, suddenly recalling how the Dragon Soul had remained invisible to all Pokémon except himself until he had defeated the Kleavor.
If this World-class treasure was also like that, then Steelix definitely wouldn't be able to find it.
After waiting for about seven or eight minutes, the mountain began to tremble slightly. And the next moment, Steelix emerged from within a rock.
"So? Did you find it?" Julian asked quickly.
Steelix nodded and moved its coiled tail toward him. Seeing this, Julian immediately understood and held out his hand.
A moment later, as Steelix loosened its tail, a tiny orb, no larger than a thumb, dropped into Julian's palm.
[Skill Orb (Fighting-type): Grants a deeper understanding of already learned Fighting-type moves, enables learning all Fighting-type moves, increases the power of Fighting-type moves by 50% (stackable with other power bonuses), increases the critical-hit rate of Fighting-type moves by 20%, which could also be stacked with other crit-rate bonuses.]
Reading the description provided by his Probing Eyes, Julian's eyes widened slightly.
Even with his prior experience with the Dragon Soul, he was still somewhat taken aback by the sheer potency of this World-class treasure's enhancement.
"Something like this... there should probably be eighteen such treasures, right?"
Noticing the "(Fighting-type)" label with the Skill Orb, he wondered if there were corresponding World-class treasures for Steel, Dragon, Fire, and other types as well.
Otherwise, why specify the type in parentheses?
"Dad, give it to me!"
Celebi, who had previously given up hope, suddenly flared up again.
"It's only suitable for Fighting-types, so don't even think about it."
Julian shot it a sidelong glance. This troublemaker really just couldn't let it go.
