"Don't be so dramatic." Renaldo stated, shaking his head. "We haven't seen each other in just two weeks—"
"Three weeks!" Jacques interjected, correcting him.
"We haven't seen each other in just three weeks, okay? There's no need to be this tearful." The butcher said, correcting himself to assure Jacques that he was listening, and glanced at Coco.
"Don't listen to him, Coco." Jacques pushed her husband aside and tightened her arms around Coco even more. "Out of the two of us, he was the one who missed you the mo—"
"Oh, hello there, Joachim!" Renaldo said, cutting his wife off and laughing obnoxiously loud.
Coco pulled away from Jacques embrace and looked at the direction Renaldo was waving at, her eyes landing on the running mediator with a bright and cheerful smile on his face.
"Coco!" Joachim called, his legs pumping faster and propelling him closer to the black haired woman.
