Kailen Darkhaven, Julian Seir, Dawnseer, Lotus, and Dexter were seated at a round table, engaged in regular chatter at the moment. Dexter had ordered several dishes at the moment. Kailen had insisted it was not necessary. However, the mayor of Richtchard City was so happy that he could not even control himself.
Kailen becoming not just a finalist but one of the candidates seriously considered for winning the national competition was something that left him extremely shocked and happy. Although he had high hopes for Kailen, hoping and seeing were two different things. Not only Kailen, but even Julian was now a finalist. This was something out of expectations.
