Being asked a question like that sent Yi Seo into something she couldn't explain. Why she felt uncomfortable being asked and not any other person but her soon to be daughter in law shouldn't have been a problem but why she felt not to tell her the truth was surprising.
Yi Seo gave an excuse that calmed Hana down not thinking twice about her future mother in law answers. Hana gladly accept the answer and went back inside only to meet a staring contest between Jae Won and Vincent.
She stood there for a whole minute and none of them realized she had already come back. Hana cleared her throat to grasp their attention but the only attention she could grasp was Vincent while Jae Won was still staring at Vincent familiar eyes and the way it stared at him lovingly right at this moment like exactly in his dream.
All sort of thoughts were running rampage with many scenarios on why his eyes looked like the one in his dream.
"What happened?" asked Hana walking to her spot but all she got was silence since Jae Won was still staring and Vincent pretending not to understand what that meant.
Meanwhile, Akwasi and Seung Jo were being denied access to the ward Jae Won was admitted to with the excuse of not being a family.
The guard at the post was adamant on his response leaving no room for negotiation making Akwasi really frustrated. What made it worse was Vincent not picking up his call in the last few minutes they drove to the hospital.
Seung Jo slowly walked as he dragged the guard to the other side gently like he was about to tell him something. Seung Jo took out his phone and showed something to the guard.
Akwasi view was soon blocked when Seung Jo turned his back to Akwasi with the only view in Akwasi's sight was the back of Seung Jo while he mumbled something to the guard.
A few seconds later, the guard was shivering with his entire body quavering like a leaf paving way for Akwasi and Seung Jo to pass.
Akwasi was shocked since the guard had no intention of letting them pass unless they were family and in a few seconds he was willing to let them through.
With that, Akwasi directed his suspicious gaze on Seung Jo who was acting as though he had no hand in what just happened.
Seung Jo looked so innocent like he didn't just do something to the guard for him to act this way. With Akwasi's gaze still boring into him while they walked to the hospital room Jae Won was admitted to, Seung Jo turned to Akwasi and said "I only bribed him with some little cash."
With that being said, still didn't change the look on Akwasi's face. In fact it worsen from curiosity to 'I don't fucking believe what you just said' with that not escaping Seung Jo.
Seung Jo smiled gently as though he was teasing his lover but he responded with insisting he just gave him money.
"What kind of money did you offer him to make him shiver like this? Why did you give him the entire world's money?" asked Akwasi but all he got was a chuckle then laughter.
"It could be so" replied Seung Jo as he increased the pace in his walk. Akwasi stood there and turned to look at the still quavering guard who couldn't bring himself to look at Seung Jo's direction.
The walk to the hospital room became quiet with Akwasi throwing curious look at Seung Jo who basically was walking as though nothing happened.
They got the room with Seung Jo knocking gently which Vincent and Hana didn't hear the sound. They only realized when the door was pushed open with Akwasi and Seung Jo straddling in like they owned the place.
Hana whose gaze fell on Akwasi realized he got something to do with that man over there who wouldn't let go of his fiancé hands while they kept staring at each other's face.
How was she going to communicate with these two untill he saw Seung Jo and immediately her darkened face brightened as she has seen someone she could chat with. I mean someone who could answer her questions or curiosity I must say.
She immediately held Seung Jo's wrist and let them out of the room with Hana not asking how they got pass the guard thrown out of the window. All she thought was ask how he knew Vincent and the most important thing was how Vincent knew Jae Won.
Seung Jo let himself be pull outside the room and in a blink of an eye he was being bombarded with a lot of questions he didn't know which ones to answer.
"Do you know the black guy? How do you know him. How does he know my Jae Won? It seems he cares for him as he wouldn't let go of him. Do you know where he came from? When will he be going back? Do you know how long he is going stay?" and many more Seung Jo had to stop and glared at Hana till she finishes.
Being stared at like that, Hana realized she was talking a lot leaving no room for answers so she kept quiet lowering her head like a scolded kid.
This got Seung Jo laughing before he answered "I picked them up at the airport and all I know is that they came here for business."
With that said, Seung Jo went ahead leaving behind a now deepen curious Hana who would exchange anything just to be free of this curioisity that was building up every sen find if the day. 'If he just lick them from the airport, why is he walking with him?' thought Hana.
Their first meet was a nice comforting one but this time, she was so uncomfortable with having no knowledge of what could be the reason. All she wants to know is where Jae Won was all that time.
Maybe that would ease the curiosity that has been building up. While Seung Jo was walking into the hospital room to finally understand what had really happened, he heard soft voices speaking just at the corner to the hospital room.
The voice was clearly Vincent's and Akwasi's but how they got there was not his concern right now but rather what they were talking about.
"Really, you think someone wants to kill Jae Won? But why?" asked Akwasi resting his hand around his waist to steady himself.
"Yes" replied Vincent as he roamed his hand on his hair, "I'm yet to find out who wants Jae Won dead. That's why I couldn't leave him alone it might be his fiancé or any other person" continues Vincent.
Akwasi, "...…."
Akwasi thought he was hearing things hearing the word 'fiancé' from none other than Vincent himself was a surprise for him.
That fiancée would have been Vincent himself and not someone else. With the look on Akwasi's face, Vincent knew Akwasi was as confused and shock as him when he heard that for the first time, so he helped explained further.
"That lady who went out with Seung Jo is Jae Won's fiancé" said Vincent. But this time Akwasi's jaw dropped to the floor and the only comment was "he sure knows how to choose a partner" earning a glare from the jealous Vincent.
"Why are you jealous?" asked Akwasi with a soft smile lurking around the corner of his lips which he was enjoying this little scene coming from the mighty Vincent.
"No I'm not jealous, because I know there has to be a reason for that and also Jae Won will always be mine no matter what" said Vincent in a confident and menacing voice.
'Wait, how is the Vice Chairman Won his?' thought Seung Jo and luckily his thought was answered as though he had asked it loud.
"You must really love Jae Won to drop everything just to meet him after five whole years of being away. I hope Jae Won also loves you the way you do because if this whole fiancé thing is true then" said Akwasi.
Seung Jo who thought this story was getting interesting began to perk up his ears to get the juicy part of it but was interrupted by Hana who asked "why are you still standing here?" asked Hana stretching her neck to see what was so interesting.
But she was stopped before she could catch a glimpse of the scene with all that not escaping Vincent and Akwasi's ears as they quickly ended their conversation.
With that, Seung Jo shot a powerful glare at Hana sending shivers down her spine with the only response she could spewed was "what?" but all she got was being ignored like she was air.
"Where have you two been?" asked Akwasi with Seung Jo giving out a soft smile to conceal his disappointment of not to be able to listen.
"Shit!!"
