Seo's headquarters had always been an old district office, a squat grey building with a flagpole out front and a parking lot full of trucks. The flagpole was gone now. Half the parking lot had been turned into a field hospital, rows of cots under tarps strung between the lampposts, people moving between them with buckets and bandages. The building itself was still standing, but one whole corner of it had been sheared off, and someone had boarded the gap with sheets of plywood and painted a big white cross on them.
Daeho led them around the back, past a line of people waiting for water, and through a side door.
Seo was waiting in the hallway.
