The voice hung in the air around them, inside the walls and inside their heads at the same time, warm and friendly and far too loud. Jin's hand had gone to the hilt of the dark sword beside his chair without him deciding to put it there. Across the table, Seul's knuckles were white against the edge of the wood.
Then the windows appeared.
They didn't open one at a time, the way the system usually showed itself. They opened all at once, in front of every face in the room, glowing that familiar pale blue. Jin knew without looking that the same window was hanging in front of every person in the school. Every person in the city. Maybe every person in the world.
