By early afternoon, the school still hadn't calmed down.
The Board had swallowed everyone. Recruits sat in corners and on stairwells and on the edges of the training yard with their windows open, scrolling, reading, typing, calling out to each other every time they found something new. Seul had finally gathered them all in the cafeteria before lunch and laid down the rules. No posting where the school was. No answering anyone they didn't know. No telling anyone what anyone here could do. Everyone had nodded. Half of them had gone straight back to scrolling the moment she let them go.
