Jun-ho's plan was clear, and the order had been absolute.
The intel was:
"Gregory will try to steal the data."
"Our system is under review."
It was a lure.
Jun-ho knew they would indeed try to steal something, but it wasn't the data from the East Wing. It was So-yong in room 304 of Block M.
The Leader knew the mole would move if they thought Jun-ho had made a mistake that shifted the focus away from her.
It was chaos, controlled by Goden's intelligence.
The first shot echoed through the floor.
In the East Wing, a confrontation began.
Jung was supposed to be isolated in his office, completely removed from the combat and, most importantly, far from So-yong.
But the sound of the first shot made him stand.
Jung didn't hesitate. He grabbed the pistol from the desk and an untouched glass of water resting there, gripping the glass tightly out of pure nerves. He opened the office door, determined to cross the headquarters.
