"[You cannot use your 'tricks' around me and my associate.]" The large man said in a deep slow Arabic accent, its rich baritone ruined by distain.
He twisted Paige's head to the side. She thought she heard a snap. The other, shorter and fatter man, visible behind his palm.
"[Good day.]" The fatty said, tone lighter, almost disarming in its maturity.
He turned sharply.
"[I think it'd be wise to continue our 'talks' elsewhere.]"
"[Yes, stop them. I will open a way.]"
The second nodded and marched confidently to the two headed monster galloping to them.
