"James! James!" Linda shouted into the phone, but no answer was coming back, only more and more gunshots. "Fuck!" She shouted as she ran out of her ministry with her guards jumping into the cars and starting to race toward the house, with the thought at the back of her mind that it was the end.
That James died and with it what she felt was despair.
Her whole being was shaken, her vision was blurred, her heart beating so fast like never before, because she knew that if those gunshots were aimed at James, there was no way he survived.
It was just too many shots.
And after ten minutes of swearing in traffic, the three car convoy finally turned into the road that led up to James' house, and they just got out of the cars and started sprinting.
Linda and all of her guards were running straight through the roadblock and there was not even one single guard there, not a single armed man was standing there, and as they reached the house all of them were there.
