The water splashed on Victor and Eduta as they started to wake up. Jace is on his hoverbike driving over the water. Behind him tethered to the back of his hoverbike is a makeshift tube that was carrying Victor and Eduta. He had made it to carry them across the dwindling ocean while they were asleep.
He called it dwindling because the water was draining and getting lower as he moved toward the Northern Continent. He did it so they could get a move on. Getting off his planet became a bigger priority when the consciousness started talking.
"How long were we knocked out?" Victor asked. As he pulled himself up. As he did the raft they were on shook slightly.
"You are going to want to stay down." Jace responded. "The raft is not stable enough for either of you to move around." Victor laid back down and Jace answered his question. "You were knocked out by the death screech of something in the pit. You were both out cold for the last few days. A lot has changed in that time."
