Liam coughed lightly and forced a normal expression onto his face.
"Yeah. Everything is fine."
It was not a very convincing answer.
Danill narrowed his eyes and studied him for a few seconds. Liam almost thought he was going to press further, but eventually the werewolf shook his head and decided to let it go. Whatever weird thing Liam had just experienced clearly wasn't something he wanted to talk about.
"Alright," Danill said slowly.
Liam silently thanked him.
The last thing he wanted to do right now was explain that his system had suddenly returned from whatever vacation it had apparently gone on and immediately started insulting him.
Danill adjusted the strap of his bag before continuing.
"As I was saying, I realized something."
Liam looked at him.
Danill's expression became more serious.
"Tatiana must have some kind of history."
Liam nodded.
That much seemed obvious now.
"You don't just wake up one day and decide to hate every man you come across."
