Chapter 14 - Beginner 2

Sam woke up with the first light of dawn. Now, he had to act like a beginner in everything to fully digest the potion.

As the sun rose, he headed to the fields, where he helped the villagers.

Gripping the hoe, he felt the rough texture of the wood beneath his hands. He forced himself to approach the task as if it were completely new to him. He focused on every movement: how he positioned his feet, how he balanced his body, and how he used his strength with minimal effort. Even regulating his breathing while working became an exercise in itself.

The goal was not to finish quickly but to experience every moment as if he were learning it for the first time. Every drop of sweat, every sensation of fatigue in his muscles, was part of the digestion process. He could feel his body slowly adapting as he continued with this approach.

After hours in the fields, Sam made his way to the old man's hut to resume his Nen training. But this time, he didn't treat it as he usually did. Instead of focusing on the advanced techniques he had already mastered, he returned to the most basic fundamentals.

Sitting before the old man, he closed his eyes and focused solely on his breathing. He felt the Nen flowing through his body, yet he treated it as if he were sensing it for the first time. He practiced Ten, then moved on to Ren to expand his aura, but this time, he wasn't seeking power—he was seeking to feel every particle of energy.

Even Gyo, which he had already mastered, he treated as if it were a new challenge. He deliberately focused on sensing every shift in his aura.

The old man noticed the change but did not question it. He understood that Sam was following his own path and simply observed in silence.

As days passed, Sam felt the Beginner Potion being digested at a faster rate. His instincts sharpened noticeably.

Even during training with the old man, he began to notice his body responding differently. Techniques that once required intense mental effort now felt more natural—closer to instinct, as if they were an inherent part of him. The Beginner Potion was integrating faster.

One night, sitting alone in his hut, Sam reflected on his process. The embodiment of the Beginner was not just about relearning what he knew—it was about embracing a mindset: an endless hunger for knowledge, humility before learning, and the realization that survival did not belong only to those who knew the most, but to those who could adapt.

He had truly become a beginner—not because he had lost his skills, but because he had rebuilt himself from the ground up, step by step.

A small smile formed on his lips as he felt his Nen flowing smoothly. This was not the end—only the beginning of the path. With each new potion, he knew the journey would demand even more adaptation, and even greater challenges.
