Noah and Thanos were both people who disliked idle chatter.
Almost the instant their words ended, both attacked at the same time.
Terrifying magic collided with overwhelming brute force. The moment the two powers met, a massive shockwave tore through the sky and swept across the entire battlefield.
Strange frowned and immediately activated his magic, opening layers of warped spatial portals. The other Kamar-Taj sorcerers reacted without hesitation, cooperating smoothly to reinforce and stabilize the structure.
Honestly, if Noah and Thanos were allowed to keep fighting like this, the Earth would be blown apart.
These two clearly had that level of power.
Even setting Thanos aside, the Sorcerer Supreme from this parallel universe alone made Strange feel a deep sense of pressure.
But Strange had no ill intentions.
This battle would obviously damage the planet, yet he had no thought of retreating.
A fight of this scale couldn't afford distractions.
The moment someone lost focus, death followed.
And even if Noah wanted to leave, Thanos would never give him that chance.
"Sigh..."
Strange rubbed his temples as the pressure grew heavier.
In his original plan, Thanos would also die-but by their own hands, through an Infinity Stone snap.
That plan was now impossible.
Because Strange could clearly sense the Time Stone's fluctuations on Noah.
Which meant only one thing.
This Sorcerer Supreme had already reclaimed it.
Without the Time Stone, how was Strange supposed to snap his fingers?
Now, all he could do was protect the Earth and the warriors still fighting.
At the same time, he carefully observed that universe-like magic unfolding before his eyes.
For now, he could only call it magic.
He wanted to see just how far it could go.
Noah was under pressure as well.
Although their full-power clashes appeared evenly matched, Noah knew Thanos's raw attack power still exceeded his own.
Fortunately, he could still withstand it.
At the same time, Noah used the Time Stone to slow Thanos, buying himself room to maneuver. With spatial power layered on top, he narrowly avoided several fatal strikes.
With a flick of his hand, the Spatial Star erupted with dazzling brilliance.
Noah watched Thanos dart and charge through the air and unleashed a devastating spell.
After deploying his domain, Noah no longer needed to think about casting speed, control, or technique.
None of it mattered anymore.
This was no longer a duel of finesse.
It was a collision of armies.
Whoever had greater power would win.
Calculations lost meaning.
Only absolute strength remained.
As Noah carved a strange rune in the air, his domain exploded with raging flames.
Thanos charged straight through and cleaved the flames apart with a single slash-but the fire stalled, as if striking resistance.
Noah didn't bother reacting.
With another wave of his hand, a second rune formed.
The suppressed flames erupted again, faster and fiercer than before.
At that moment, Noah's domain became tyrannical.
Pure destruction pressed down on Thanos without any trace of restraint.
Within the domain, the battlefield was swallowed by lava.
Blazing yellow magma surged outward like a ruptured dam, expanding endlessly, turning the land into a red, boiling sea.
The heat incinerated everything.
Countless of Thanos's soldiers were vaporized the instant they touched it, reduced to drifting steam.
Those who fled faster survived.
When they looked back, fear consumed their eyes.
Only Thanos stood untouched.
Even Strange and the others could only pull everyone into the Mirror Dimension.
Yet even there, the distortion of time and space seeped in from Noah's domain.
It felt as if those flames were still rushing toward them.
"Damn it," Strange muttered. "This guy is completely unreasonable."
"He really is," Tony Stark said, having regained consciousness. He ordered FRIDAY to record everything.
Tony knew very well that without Strange and the Kamar-Taj sorcerers, the Earth would already be gone.
The power displayed by these two surpassed anything he could imagine.
"Tell me," Tony said, turning to Strange, "why can't you do this?"
"If you could, we'd have finished everything on Titan, right?"
"I already told you," Strange replied flatly. "I'm not him. Our universes aren't the same."
He didn't want to answer questions like that anymore.
They were absurd.
What Strange was truly curious about was something else.
What would his counterpart in Noah's universe become?
Wong had said that version of him had shattered both hands and was desperately seeking treatment.
If nothing unexpected happened, he would eventually end up at Kamar-Taj.
But Kamar-Taj already had a Sorcerer Supreme.
What would happen then?
Strange shook his head, abandoning the thought.
His gaze returned to Noah, growing heavier.
What he hadn't told Tony and the others was that this blazing world was only part of Noah's power.
The Sorcerer Supreme from that universe also wielded ice, storms, and earth.
And beyond that-
Time.
Space.
Once Noah released his domain, holding back was no longer an option.
Domain stability was critical.
Noah wouldn't waste magic needlessly.
As lava devoured the land and Thanos adapted to the fighting style, Noah shifted elements without pause.
Fire turned to ice.
In an instant, the world plunged into an ice age.
Towering ice spikes erupted.
Tides of magic-infused water crashed toward Thanos.
When Thanos adapted again, the power shifted once more.
Wind.
Earth.
Each elemental eruption carried world-ending force.
Yet Thanos's adaptability was terrifying.
By the later stages, Noah was almost continuously casting spells.
Thanos dodged relentlessly, occasionally slicing through the magic before vanishing again.
The frustration built.
It felt like trying to crush a fly with siege weapons.
A poisonous, armor-piercing fly.
One moment of carelessness, and Thanos was suddenly in Noah's face, blade flashing toward his head.
If Noah hadn't reacted instantly-slowing time, slipping into the Mirror Dimension, and counterattacking simultaneously-his domain would have shattered.
Ten minutes passed.
Noah could feel the instability creeping in.
The thought of activating the Time Stone surfaced.
He glanced toward Thor and Loki, who had already wiped out Thanos's army.
They were blocked by the domain's boundary and couldn't enter.
At the same time, Noah sensed an enormous power signature approaching Earth.
It had a physique similar to his.
But stronger.
Captain Marvel.
Noah took a deep breath.
He prepared to use the Time Stone to restore his magic.
Then he looked at Thanos.
"You're starting to look less like a conqueror," Noah said calmly. "More like a rat. No-more like a frantic fly. Boring."
"Hmph," Thanos snorted. "Child. I've conquered countless worlds. I've faced every situation imaginable."
"And don't use my own words against me."
"You're right," Noah replied indifferently. "What a pity."
The next instant, Noah's magic surged again.
Within his domain, the four inner light spheres converged.
Four powers roared toward a single point.
Even the blue-green outer sphere erupted, channeling overwhelming energy inward.
In a blink, a faint golden light sword formed.
Six energies fused into an impossibly pure, golden brilliance.
Noah grasped the sword casually and looked at Thanos.
"I'm done playing," he said quietly. "Let's end this."
Green light slowly spread from the Spatial Star.
Thanos tightened his grip on his double-bladed sword.
He stared at the light sword radiating terrifying power.
But his attention wasn't fixed on it.
It was on everything around him.
If anything went wrong, he would flee instantly.
Their gazes locked.
The next moment, the light sword vanished.
Thanos's muscles tensed.
His senses flared.
Then-
His expression changed.
Drastically.
