Chapter 192 - 194Chapter 194: The True Blood God Appears

Ryan rummaged through his spatial pocket and pulled out an iron frame, taller than half a man, with a yellow gas cylinder.

Then he pulled out a cannonball the size of an ostrich egg.

"If I hadn't been a militia general, I wouldn't have gotten my hands on such a good thing.

I just wonder what effect this thing will have on wizards?" Ryan thought to himself as he loaded the Fat Man nuclear bomb, then carried the launcher to the secret door.

After taking a deep breath to stabilize his mind, Ryan directly opened the secret door and, before the opponents could react, fired the Fat Man nuclear bomb at the densely packed crowd, then quickly closed the door.

After closing the door, Ryan heard several spells hit the door, followed by a violent explosion.

Even though he was far away and separated by a stone wall protected by magic, Ryan could feel a slight tremor.

The magical attacks only paused for a second or two, then another one or two spells hit the stone wall.

But as the ten-second countdown ended, after a few screams, the entire space fell silent.

Ryan looked out through the peephole again and found that the Doomsday Clock had toppled over, and the bright red lines that had been connected to it had completely disappeared.

The place where people had stood beneath the Doomsday Clock platform had turned into a pile of black ash, while on the platform, four figures stood motionless, but each of them was pale, as if all the blood in their bodies had vanished.

Ryan opened the secret door a crack and used life magic to probe the four figures on the platform, only to find that all four of them were dead.

"Hiss, what kind of magic is this?" Ryan gasped.

The situation was clear now: the wizards below were killed by the close-range explosion of the nuclear bomb.

But the guys above somehow managed to withstand the nuclear bomb explosion and then launched an attack on the spot where Ryan had just appeared.

However, they were instantly killed when the defensive magic inside the pyramid was activated later.

Thinking this, the guy called the Blood God was even more formidable than imagined.

Because he didn't know if there were any other traps in this hall, Ryan didn't dare to go out and collect the spoils.

Instead, he called Hermione and together they passed through the golden door and returned to the main hall.

What they didn't notice, however, was that as soon as they left, the remains in the hall slowly disappeared, and everything in the hall returned to its original state, with only the Doomsday Clock remaining toppled over.

Before returning to the hall, Ryan quietly held something in his left hand, then hid his left hand in his sleeve.

As soon as he entered the hall, the guy sitting on the throne stood up excitedly and puffed out his chest, saying, "Very good, you have cleared the obstacles for me, and the Blood God will rule this land again.

And I will bestow upon you the glory of eternal companionship by the side of the gods."

As he spoke, a strong soul fluctuation swept down from the throne, and Ryan immediately felt his head swim.

Fortunately, with the help of the Maoshan mental cultivation method and the shouts of a large number of souls in his sea of consciousness, he finally regained control of his body, but Hermione next to him had vacant eyes, seemingly controlled by this Blood God.

"Ah, since the betrayal of those traitors from the Blood God Sect, I haven't seen such good test subjects.

You, come up here and let me take a good look." The old man on the throne pointed at Ryan and commanded.

Ryan composed himself, then emptied his eyes, pretending to be controlled, and slowly walked to the throne.

"Let me see…" The old man sitting on the throne had just taken out an obsidian slab for Ryan to hold in his right hand, then lowered his head to look at the obsidian slab as if to analyze something.

But as soon as he placed his hand on the slab, he heard a click, the sound of a mechanism activating.

Then a knife suddenly popped out from the right arm beneath the obsidian, stabbing directly at his heart, forcing him to turn sideways to avoid the blow.

But he hadn't expected Ryan's left hand to simultaneously extend from his sleeve, holding a jade tablet, and directly slap the armrest of the throne.

Then the jade tablet shattered, and large bursts of lightning simultaneously blasted both of them away from the throne.

As he was blown away, Ryan saw that green snake who had been hidden on Hermione, had already formed a suit of armor on her and was leading her out of the hall.

With no worries, Ryan stood up, clutching his bleeding left hand, and saw the old man lying there motionless.

The blood-red throne slowly began to writhe, finally forming a humanoid figure made of blood.

Sure enough, the throne was the true body.

He had thought so; that guy had described himself as overly righteous and glorious.

But how could a guy who could slaughter a hundred thousand innocent humans, and even not spare his own daughter and wife, be a good person?

Plus, ever since he entered the temple's main hall until now, no matter what happened, he never left his throne.

Wasn't that a clear sign of a problem?

Now, a probing test had indeed revealed it.

So now it was time to fight.

Ryan endured the pain and pulled out a pile of jade talismans, throwing them at the blood figure in front of him.

With a crackling sound, large amounts of lightning left scorched marks on its body.

However, a new layer of blood would instantly wash over these wounds, making them disappear.

"It's useless, I am a god.

How can mortals harm a god?

You have now successfully enraged me." With that, the blood person clasped his hands together, then slowly pulled them apart.

A blood-red long staff appeared in his hand.

"Do you know what you just did?

Originally, I was about to devour everything the Witch King had set up in this tower and successfully acquire my own body.

With a body, I could become a true god!

But you, this bothersome bug, have made me need another five hundred years."

As he spoke, the blood person waved his long staff, and a crescent-shaped blood-red aura shot straight at Ryan.

Ryan rolled to the side, clumsily dodging the attack.

"I swear, I will live to drain the blood from you and your companions.

Then I will turn you into corpse cocoons and make your souls wail inside for a thousand years, ten thousand years." By the end, a torrent of obscenities poured out, clearly indicating he was on the verge of going mad.

Wait, so this isn't the Witch King, but rather the Blood Origin Stone that has gained sentience.

Ten thousand years, that's too cruel.

The Great Sage was only suppressed for five hundred years back then.

But then again, both are stones; Sun Wukong became the Great Sage Equal to Heaven in a thousand years, and you, this Blood Origin Stone, have become such a low-grade piece of trash, not even managing to cultivate a human form.

Ryan muttered to himself, dodging the blood person's attacks around the hall, occasionally launching spells that struck his body, leaving wounds.

Unfortunately, no matter how many wounds he inflicted, they would all disappear within ten seconds.

Ryan's mind was extremely tense, because the souls he had seen earlier proved that the threat was not baseless.

If he really couldn't hold on, he would have no choice but to use the escape system of the general store to run away.

But after chasing for a while, the blood person returned to its original position, then raised the long staff in its hand high and slammed it onto the ground.

Ryan thought he was about to unleash some powerful move and quickly added several layers of defense in front of himself, scared.

But there was no attack; only a circular black hole appeared in the ceiling of the main hall directly above the blood person.

Soon, wisps of blood-red aura flew out of the black hole and merged into the blood person's body.

If Ryan could see what was happening outside, he would find that the most important blood pools in every secret stronghold of the Blood God Sect were slowly drying up, and at the same time, many wizards who had cultivated the unique magic of the Blood God Sect suddenly found that the blood in their bodies began to boil and slowly disappear.

"These traitors thought they could steal the power of a god, but today they will all pay."

The blood person stood there, leaning on his long staff with both hands, shouting, and Ryan could also feel the intensity of the energy on his body growing stronger and stronger.
