Meili stood up from her bed and made her way towards her father's bedroom, her feet bare to the cold floors as she walked her way through the corridors of the palace. " princess?"
A voice startled her and she frowned when she realized who it was, " why are you still here? Duke humsworth …." She blurted out and he came to stand right in front of her. " I had business with the king and you here….wasn't expecting to see you this soon, Meili?" The duke said with a grin that annoyed her the most. There was just something weird about the duke yet she had accepted to marry him without thinking, maybe this was a very bad idea! She nodded to herself and decided to walk pass him but what she did not expect was for the man to grab her by the arm and pull her into his embrace, with his left hand on her small waist. " what are you doing!" She roared in anger and he didn't even move, he squeezed her waist making her eyes widen. " you know you're a woman right? You should learn how to speak to men, that ice in your eyes, the arrogance and disrespect…..I can break it all and break you even more " he said with seriousness as his eyes roamed all over her body and lust started to fill him even more as his eyes landed on the swollen top of her breast that was in view because of the light nightwear she was wearing. Meili suddenly slapped him with her free hand and he groaned, " pervert!" She screamed and her heels were quick to escape when he suddenly grabbed her long hair forcing her to come back to him because of the pain she felt, " pervert! You dare called me a pervert? Let me really show what a pervert really is!!" He was angry and yanked her forward still holding her hair and Meili at this point had tears in her eyes. All she could hear was the painful screams of the duke and her eyes widened when she didn't hear his voice again and the whole place was silent, like nothing ever happened and she staggered backwards when she saw a silhouette coming her way, it probably the first time of her seeing something that tall, it came even closer and her eyes widened but it took a turn to look in a different direction and her eyes widened even more when she saw something or was it someone, sitting on the railing of the long opened window and she couldn't still see clearly. " tsk, tsk, filthy human…." The first silhouette said, his voice sending shivers down her spine and then they both turned to look at her, making her swallow and stare warily at the two. " she's a strong one! No wonder you were wor-" he was stopped midway and he shut up that instant. And just like that the one on the window side jumped off and the other followed, she tried to get up but ended up on the floor again with no strength left in her body, " princess! Princess…. Are you okay?" Her handmaidens came to her looking worried, they had heard the commotion even the king was out now looking at his daughter with wide eyes.

" Your majesty, how could the princess do this! Is she really cursed or she's just an evil witch"

" this must not slide, else you're not being fair your majesty!"

So on and the king stared at his daughter who was now chained with shackles yet she had no remorse or fear in her eyes, all that could be seen was a girl in a daze. " so what do you want? I can't kill my own daughter!!" The king roared in anger, fed up with everything that was happening, this was not the first time a thing like this had happened and he knew his daughter was innocent, those suitors were definitely at fault and the question here was, what actually happened and why did they end up hurt or killed by the said culprit?
Only if Meili would care to explain, well from the looks of things, she doesn't care to explain, she never did and never will. The suitor's family had requested that the princess be punished for causing harm to their child, the duke was found with no marks or blood traces, yet he was in pain so much that he hasn't been able to speak and all he could say was her name…..
Meili had a smirk on her face, " he should have had more than that for trying to mess with me!" She blurted out keeping her composure in place and she sounded like a maniac. " what did he try to do to you, Meili?" The king asked her with a frown on his face. She stood up from her knees as she spoke these words, she had come to understand that she was being protected by someone and that person was a real deal. They thought it was her doing and that she was a cursive child who destroys any good thing and that she didn't want peace, the people wanted her execution. " a little bit of advice….you people should not try to hurt me, you have no idea what will come for all of you " she said pointing at each one of them in the courtroom, making them flinch away from her.
