"I, the poor monk, wish to develop the Middle Mahayana heart to help all, to bear immeasurable suffering on behalf of sentient beings, ensuring ultimate joy for all.
The poor monk Xuanzang established Middle Mahayana Buddhism in the Eastern Land, teaching Middle Mahayana Dharma of the Eastern Land, and ferrying all sentient beings of the Eastern Land.
