As the next wave of beasts approached the city, they saw a huge explosion and fluctuations of a platinum-ranked creature ahead. The instinct of self-preservation took over, and they decided to bypass the city.
It was an incredibly effective solution. Ned understood his master's intentions so well that he did not restrain himself in battle.
When the dust settled and the fire on the outskirts of the city was extinguished, Ned, as if nothing had happened, emerged from the epicenter of events.
There were no wounds on his body, not even dust on his clothes. A satisfied smile shone on his face, and his gaze, not noticing the shocked stares of the defenders, was directed at one person — his older brother. He wanted to see Idan's reaction and receive his praise.
Idan, sensing Ned's emotions, couldn't help but praise him, giving him a thumbs up:
"Good job, Ned."
