With that, Alune and the Supreme Beast walked away. Of course, Rael provided him with the necessities he needed.
Free of charge too, to leave a good impression. In the end, he hoped Alune and the Supreme Beast could patch up their relationship, or at least try to change it from the current one.
After all, both of them deserved to be happy, and even though that guy might not have been the best grandpa, it was never too late to make some amends.

"Care to let me in your mind?" Gaia asked.
She leaned down beside him and placed her hand over his forehead.
"You seem conflicted."
"I am conflicted," Rael replied.
Gaia paused for a moment, and right as she was about to say something, Rael continued:
"How would you feel if, for all your life, you thought you were something more? Instead, you were just a random nobody who copied someone's identity? Honestly... Shit. This is pissing me off the more I think about it."
She immediately clocked what he was trying to say.
