A few minutes passed, and by now, Rael was back on the snowy continent, standing in front of the portal that would lead them back to the regular Earth.
But before stepping through, Rael glanced over at Melissa, who finally woke up. She didn't seem to realize what was happening at first, but once all the memories flooded back into her mind, she became aware of what happened before she passed out.
And of course, like the idiot that she was, she immediately tried to kick off the ground and go back to the place she saw, only to be yanked back by her collar straight through the portal by none other than Rael.
He had grown a little bit tired of her being such an idiot, and he was a little confused about where this sense of adventure came from. Was it because she was stuck in a coma for so long?
Eh...
I have no idea.
Either way, now there was only Altros left, and so Rael gestured for him to go through as well. However, he didn't. At least not yet.
