" Kunal is dead", said Zeenat. " Four years ago members of your gang killed him. Or so we thought ", she said.

She nodded weakly.
" I remembered one of the men", she said.
" Who", he asked.
" I don't know his name", she said.
" I don't believe you", said Sumeet.
" I am a dying woman sir. I have nothing but my child left. Kunal rests in Saint Peter's cemetery in his village. He lived there as a child. Father D'mello. You can ask him", she said.
" Take them all in custody " , he said to his deputys.
" Usman take the girl to Rambabu. She joins my household as a servant. The child shall remain with my wife".
" Any games with me", he threatened Zeenat. " And I kill the child first ".
All of them shivered in fear.
Jeet thought if Kunal is dead then who is the mastermind? Why that number of Kunal was used? Which man from Dragon's team used his name to betray him?
And he had no answers

Next Morning
" Sam oh my God Sam", cried Chanchal as she hugged the child tightly.
" Someone is after him", he explained to her.
She saw her husband.
" They tried to kill him. He will be safe here".
They were back at Singhanias after completing the vacation.
Chanchal readily agreed.
" I offered her mother a job", he explained. "Keep the kid with you".
" Angel", sniffed Sammy.
" Oh my poor child ", said Chanchal as she took him to bath.
He saw Adhiraj with a questioning look on his face.
He signalled study as both father and son moved there.
An hour later
Jeet has relayed the entire story to Adhi.

" I hope you are verifying the facts", said Adhi.

And in next fifteen minutes she explained what happened at the vacation minus that the attack was on the little boy.

She was about to leave when she got a call from Jeet.
" Are you done with pool you grandpa? Bet the standard of bimbos has fallen more", she said sarcastically.

" Uhh I am done arguing with you pest. I am off to meet Chi Chi", she said.

" Actually that kid Sam", she replied truthfully.

She mellowed down.

Goa
" Viru we need to be extra careful with this assignment. One slip and we will fail", said Jeet.
" I never thought army could ne compromised ", said Virat.
" We are not sure it. If today that attack happens we are sure", said Jeet with a grim face.

" We need something solid to approach the centre. This attack will provide us the proof we need. Plus make sure we get him alive", he said.
" One more thing if you think it is of some importance " , said Viru.
" Shoot", said Jeet.
" Goa is ruled by Rajvansh family underground your.. I mean Summet's mother's family ".

He welcomed Jeet heartily. He was a member of opposite party but an honest and simple man. Deepak respected him a lot though they were not friends.

The army people saluted Jeet. He saluted back as army principles ran in his blood.

Viru's team was on high alert. Guru joined them from Mumbai. Jeet halted him there.
" We don't want to alert them. And plus you are needed here. Keep an eye on Rash", he had said.
Rashmi's mention sealed the deal for him. She was reckless knew Guru and for all his bravado Jeet was scared for her and of her.
A slow genuine smile came on Guru's face.

" Rash Thank God you are here" said Chi Chi as she arrived.
Sam was sitting with her along with a girl of 19-20.
" Please explain her that she is safe here", said Chi Chi.
" Who is she", asked Rash
" Sam's mother ", replied Chanchal.
" Grace", said Rash as she examined the girl.
She was quite young to be a mother. Plus she looked innocent. Also very healthy.
" Mom I'll. Dioctor say she die", she remembered the child's words.

Rash knew she will investigate and Jeet wouldn't like it. She sighed.
