Susheel stood up from his bed and looked at his palm before clenching it and saying in his heart. "I have completed the first step. Now the actual journey begins."
Susheel picks up the manual and starts reading it again this time he seems to understand it more and more. He finally summarises it in his head. "So this book records six cultivation realms.
The first being the Qi Gathering Realm.
The second being the Qi Refining Realm.
The third being the Foundation Establishment realm.
The fourth being the Core Formation Realm.
The fifth being the Nascent Soul Realm.
And finally the sixth being the Soul Formation realm.
The Qi Gathering Realm is pretty self explanatory. It just requires the cultivator to gather qi in their body to breakthrough. Right now I am in the Qi Gathering Realm early stage. Each realm is divided into four minor realms, they being early, middle, late and peak stages. One has to cultivate their realm to the peak stages to breakthrough to the next major realm. 'Each time you breakthrough to a major realm you will face a tribulation.' this is a not so good thing to hear. But as long as the tribulation is manageable then it would pose no real threat."
After contemplating his thoughts susheel sat on the bed again and started cultivating.
Sensing this Xu Jianhong's impression about susheel improved. "This kid not only has the talent he also has mindset to cultivate. He truly is my son, he is truly worthy of being my son. Hahaha."
Suddenly a thought popped up in Xu Jianhong's head. "Maybe I should send Xu Zhen to the Jade Pure Dragon Sect. If I sent him there he would not only be able to cultivate in peace but he would also be able to hone his battle prowess and experience..... But on another thought it is not time yet, maybe I should wait till he reaches Foundation Establishment realm or Qi Refining Realm. Hmmm, forget it I will think about it later."
In susheel's room.
Immersed in his cultivation susheel had spent nearly two days cultivating non-stop before he opened his eyes. The first thought that popped up in his head was a single and a small sentence. "I am hungry."
Even though cultivators could live without food or water but that was only possible for cultivators at core formation realm or higher. And since susheel was only a Qi Gathering Realm cultivator his hunger could only be delayed.
Susheel got up from his bed and weakly walked out of the room. His face showed clear signs of exhaustion as he walked to the kitchen and ordered the maid. "Please.... Bring me something to... Eat."
The maid showed a look of concern before answering. "Yes, young master." And brought food to the table.
Susheel's eyes gleamed and sparkled with light before he munched down the food.
After eating his stomach bloated out as he let out a huge burp. He was thoroughly satisfied and gave the maid a huge thumbs up.
Susheel rested for a while before he got up and went out to the courtyard. His expression was seemingly an exciting one.
In the orange hue of the setting sun susheel pointed his index finger at a tree that was 25 meters away from him. "In order to do the Qi Explosion technique i need to identify the target and analyse its height and width, although the activation is a bit complex once mastered it could let you easily catch your opponent off guard. At least that's what I understood from my mother's demonstration back when I was three years old and the tutorial from the manual."
Susheel took in a deep breath as he focuses completely on the tree. "Qi Explosion." Susheel thought in his heart. But he suddenly felt pain in his head.
He knelt grabbing his head in pain. But susheel understood why. It was the backlash of the failure of the technique.
