The group headed through the door the mysterious woman had taken.
They stepped into a dim, concrete corridor lined with rusted bars — a small underground prison. The air was thick with the smell of decay.
A map was pinned to the wall. Leon took it and folded it into his pocket.
They continued down the hall, passing by cells filled with growling zombies — safely trapped behind the metal bars.
Claire: "Where'd she go? She was just ahead of us."
Kai: "It's like she vanished…"
Y/N: "Or maybe she turned invisible — hope that's not a new virus effect."
They reached the end of the corridor and turned left.
A single cell stood at the far corner, with a power control panel beside it. Inside, a man leaned against the wall, casually smoking a cigarette.
???: "Hello?"
Claire: "Hey! You alright in there?"
As they got closer, they saw his ID card — "Ben." He was a reporter, trapped behind the bars.
Ben: "I don't believe it… Real humans! Hello, human!"
He stepped forward, flicking ash from his cigarette.
Y/N: "Uh, hi? Wait—are you saying you're not human?"
Leon: "...bro, seriously?"
Ben: "You're not with Irons, right?! Did he send you!?"
Y/N: "No, he didn't. We're actually looking for that guy."
Ben: "Good. Hopefully he's somebody's dinner by now."
Kai: "Let me guess — you found out something about him you shouldn't have, and he threw you in here?"
Ben: "You know about him too, huh? Yeah. I was about to blow the whistle on his dirty ass. Would've done it too if he hadn't locked me up."
He flicked away his cigarette and sighed.
Suddenly, faint metal clanging echoed through the corridor.
Ben: "Hey… I'll make you a deal. You get me out of here, and I'll give you this."
He held up a keycard.
Ben: "There's no other way out of that parking garage, believe me."
Claire examined the power panel beside the cell.
Some parts were missing — wires cut, fuses gone.
Claire: "We won't be able to open it until we restore power. We'll need to find the missing pieces."
The noises grew louder… something was approaching.
Ben: "Yeah, well, hurry up! We're all prisoners in this station, so—please, hurry!"
Y/N: "Wait… that sound—don't tell me—"
Ben: "Oh, shit. It's coming!"
He backed against the wall.
Y/N: "Wait, not that wall!!"
Ben: "Come on! Get me out! Don't be an asshole—please, just get me the f—"
CRASH!
A massive hand tore through the concrete wall, grabbed Ben by the head, and yanked him back.
With a sickening crack, his skull was crushed like glass.
The creature dropped his limp body, then stepped away into the shadows.
The corridor fell silent — only the echo of heavy footsteps fading away.
Y/N: "...Damn it. That was Mr. X."
Leon raised his gun as footsteps approached again.
But instead of the monster, it was her — the woman from before.
Leon: "Oh, it's you."
He lowered his pistol.
???: "Yes. There's no one else here."
She walked past them and stopped over Ben's corpse.
Kai: "Except the guy who killed him."
???: "What happened?"
Y/N: "Mr. X came from behind the wall and crushed his skull."
???: "Mr. X?"
Y/N: "Yeah — big, tall guy. I just named him! Cool, right?"
She rolled her eyes.
???: "If you ever get married, please let your wife name your kids."
Y/N: ":)"
Leon: "That wasn't a compliment."
Y/N: ":("
???: "That was supposed to be my journalist — he had information on Umbrella."
Kai: "And we needed his keycard to get out."
Claire: "We could fix the circuit—"
The woman interrupted by pulling her gun.
She fired at the door lock, kicked it open, and began searching Ben's body.
Claire: "Aaaand that's… another way to do it."
Leon: "If you think about it… we could've done that the whole time."
The woman retrieved a voice recorder from Ben's jacket, stood, and started walking away.
Y/N: "Hey, wait a second!"
He grabbed her arm, stopping her.
If there was one thing Y/N hated, it was cocky people acting like the world owed them space.
Y/N: "At least tell us your name. You can't just walk around like that."
She turned slightly, pulling her arm free.
Y/N: "I'm Y/N L/N. That's Claire. Those two are Leon and Kai."
???: "Well, cute thing... I suggest you stop sticking your nose into things bigger than you — and leave this place."
She turned and walked off into the dark hallway.
Ada: "Name's Ada."
The shadows swallowed her figure.
Y/N: "...But my name isn't cute thing…"
Leon: "-_-"
Kai: slaps his own face
Claire: giggles, sweating a little.
Kai crouched beside Ben's body, grabbed the keycard, and held it up.
Kai: "Here. This will be our exit."
Before they could move, an alarm blared through the prison.
All the cells unlocked.
The undead began pouring out, moaning and stumbling toward them.
Kai: "Great. More of these guys. Sorry, but I can't stay still."
Y/N: "Bring it on!!"
Leon: "Wait—this way!"
Leon pulled a lever and opened a side gate, leading to another path. They hurried through — only to stop dead in their tracks.
Mr. X was waiting at the far end of the corridor.
Y/N: "Oh, perfect! You again!"
Kai: "Close your eyes, everyone!!"
He threw his last flash grenade at the monster's feet.
A blinding light erupted — Mr. X roared, staggering.
They took the chance to sprint past him, fighting through groups of zombies on the way.
Y/N & Kai: "Damn it — MOVE!!"
They tore through the undead with brutal combos while Leon and Claire provided cover fire.
After a grueling fight, they finally burst back into the parking garage.
Y/N: "Ha! That was ea—"
BOOM!
Mr. X crashed through the wall beside him, cutting him off.
Y/N: "Oh, come on!"
The tyrant grabbed Y/N by the throat and lifted him off the ground. He struggled, clawing at the massive hand, but it was useless. Leon and Claire opened fire while Kai stabbed at the creature's arm — nothing worked.
Y/N: "You... hate... me that much...?!"
He started losing breath — until the roar of an engine filled the garage.
They turned. A SWAT van surged forward, headlights blazing.
Leon: "Watch out!!"
The group dove aside as the van slammed into Mr. X, crushing him against the wall.
The impact shook the ground.
Y/N collapsed, coughing, rubbing his neck.
From the driver's seat, the door opened — and Ada stepped out, calm as ever.
Y/N: "Thanks for that, Ada."
Ada: "This is getting old — saving your ass. That's twice."
Her tone was dry, unimpressed.
Kai: "You just show up and vanish like Batman or something?"
Ada: "At least I'm useful."
The van suddenly groaned — moving.
Claire: "You've got to be kidding me!"
Mr. X was pushing the van off himself.
Ada: "Nothing dies down here."
Y/N: "Tell me about it — I've faced worse."
BOOM!
The van exploded, engulfed in flames.
The group shielded their faces from the blast.
Ada turned toward them.
Ada: "Do you have the keycard?"
Kai sighed and held it up.
She looked back at the burning wreckage.
Ada: "I see why you call him Mr. X. I might take back what I said."
Y/N: "Really?!" smiling proudly
Ada: "No. Just kidding."
Y/N: ":("
Kai used the keycard. The heavy garage door slid open.
Finally — they were out of the police station… and one step closer to escaping this nightmare.
