Who would have guessed that a city where immortal beings of extreme intelligence, fame, and power would be filled with nothing? Sure, there were some cool things, but most of them I could already replicate with my magic or by simply creating an artifact on my own, and even the materials that I could extract from were nothing worth mentioning.
Some Uru, Vibranium, and Adamantium, even Promethium, but most of those I already have in large quantities thanks to Yao, and others I could simply will for the Earth to bring said metal, and it would listen. It's still funny how Wakanda thinks they have the biggest reserve of Vibranium when I exist, I have a meteor made purely of it right inside my inventory.
Aside from those, though, I also found some interesting books, some of which had been written by masters of their own arts, thick as a step-sister, and read by me in under a second thanks to the amount of minds I currently possessed. On the plus side, Knowledge was brought to level 21; theoretically, I can now beat Reed at his own mind game.
Jokes aside, there is a more important matter to face right now, said matter being a child-sized celestial who only spoke through mathematical formulas, and a time machine that needed to be dealt with.
" 2060, 2060, 2060, 2060."
It seems he had already read the formula and had discovered the "truth." Therapist, don't let me down right now.
My hand landed on his shoulder, and the being looked at me. The energy that had been until a moment ago was on the brink of explosion, of ravaging whatever it found its path now calmed, the rumble of numbers gone, what it had as eyes looking not at me, but through me, as it was staring at something beyond physical structure.
" 1+2 = 3?" The noise came out as if made by machines smashing against each other, a cacophony of sounds mixing to create a specific phrase.
" Indeed, it does." I simply nodded.
The being stared at me for a good minute, my hand still on its shoulder, as its size shrank back to the size of an infant, the now baby celestial crowled on my body and hugged my chest, trying to find some comfort.

Right on cue, several people appeared all at once, a tear in space itself made through science.
One I had already met, the forever man, Michelangelo, others I discovered only when they arrived.
Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Mina the pigeon, and the Eternal Dynamo, the child with Stars under his skin, Leonid, I have to say I am quite disappointed, sure, his conncetion to this dimension and cosmic energy as a whole is quite impressive, but it's just that, there is no fusion with it, no comunication, it's not a frindly relationship, but pure control gained trough training, nothing more.
The others reacted normally, wary of me and ready to take action if necessary. Lenoid instead reacted in a way I didn't predict; he fell to his knees. I felt the dimension take control of him when it felt he was about to attack, and enforced itself on him, feeling the threat towards the anchor of this universe as an absolute offense.
I could feel it, the twitch in their muscles as they were seconds away from attacking. Leonardo was hesitant when he recognized the star child around my torso, not wishing for any more lives to be lost. I stopped them.
" I am not with Newton; his reaction was caused by his intentions and his connection to the universe. I have done nothing."
" What are you?"
Before I could answer, Michelangelo spoke.
" He is an error, a being even beyond me, a god in mortal flesh, and apparently an anchor to this universe."

" What will you do with the Human Machine?"
" For now, I will remove it from here, even though Newton is dead; people who were on his side are still alive, and I fear what they might do with it."
" What if Leonid uses it?" Mina asked.
"... It makes him powerful, powerful enough that he would have been able to deal with the child and Newton, but being connected to the universe and being part of it are very different things; he would die in a few years, crushed by the sheer difference."
" Isaac has already been eliminated. There is no more use for it; your mere existence has already caused the hidden truth to become useless. You can do whatever you want with it."
Outside, I was calm, on the inside, instead? I was dancing, for I had finally obtained an item reeking with time mana.
