She gestured toward a location far away from the capital.
We traveled across the planet, leaving the enormous city behind. After flying for some distance, another massive civilization appeared on the horizon.
This city was different. The capital had been designed as the political, administrative, and organizational center of Abor.
This one had been built around transportation and trade.
"This is the trade city," Steve explained.
I looked toward the enormous structure at its center.
"A teleportation hub?"
"Exactly."
The teleportation hub was enormous. Multiple gigantic teleportation formations had been constructed across a vast complex, each connected to different regions and planets throughout the Blue Spiral Galaxy.
"The idea was to turn Abor into the central trading point of the galaxy," North said. "We've established connections with most of the major planets controlled by the different races."
She pointed toward several separate formations.
