The first guard barely had time to widen his eyes before Kyle's mana-infused right hook caught him square under the jaw. The man's helmet clattered against the stone wall as he went down like a sack of rocks.
The second guard lunged, his iron sword whistling through the damp corridor air. Kyle ducked under the blade, driving his shoulder into the guard's sternum. The impact knocked the wind out of the man, pinning him against the wall. Before he could recover, Kyle grabbed the guard's wrist, twisted it down, and slammed his head back into the stone. The guard sagged, unconscious.
