"What did you say? You want to break off the engagement with Felix?" Oliver Shaw thought he had heard wrong. He furrowed his brow and confirmed again. Mia Foster nodded, her gaze resolute, "Yes."
"Why? Did Felix do something to wrong you?" Oliver Shaw asked, puzzled. Although his son had secretly met with that young star in another city, he had kept it well-hidden, not like before when it would be exposed by the media.
Mia Foster lowered her gaze and slightly curved her lips, saying, "No, Felix is good, it's my own issue."
A confident and rational woman does not blame others for her faults.
"Your issue? What issue do you have?"
Oliver Shaw was even more puzzled, "Did you fall for someone else, and that's why you want to break off the engagement with Felix?"
"Uncle Shaw is joking," Mia Foster chuckled at Oliver Shaw's words, "I've just returned to T city. I haven't even sorted out the company matters; there's no time to interact with other men."
