Melody Zachary paused while opening the food container, staring at Mia Foster, "Mia, Felix already knows he's wrong. Can't you give him another chance?"
"Auntie, not every mistake deserves forgiveness." As she said this, Mia Foster's hand on the office table involuntarily tightened.
"Fine, fine, don't forgive, don't forgive. Felix brought it upon himself, let him suffer!" Melody continued to open each food container, then placed a pair of chopsticks on the one holding rice, "Mia, eat now. The food's taste will change once it gets cold."
Seeing Mia Foster just staring at her in silence, Melody smiled and said, "Mia, let's not worry about Felix. It's just us as mother and daughter. I only have Felix as a son and no daughter. In the future, I'll consider you my daughter. You know, Auntie doesn't have much to do at home now, so cooking and bringing you meals is something to keep me busy."
Although Melody always smiled, Mia Foster could tell her eyes were already turning red.
