Since Felix Shaw accidentally hurt himself because of Mia Foster, she didn't have the heart to make him stay at a hotel. Before going to work, she asked him again if he needed to go to the hospital. Felix was sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed in a comical position, his hands covering that part, looking at Mia with an aggrieved expression. He said he felt much better, and going to a hospital for an injury in that area wouldn't offer a better treatment; it needed to heal gradually. Mia believed him and, before going to work, repeatedly reminded Felix to rest in bed. Then she drove to the office.
As soon as Mia closed the door downstairs and left, Felix almost simultaneously bounced off the sofa, walked to the window, and watched as the car gradually drove away, the corners of his lips curving into a victorious grin.
