After Sophia Hamilton walked into the examination room, the doctor who had just called the number glanced at her meaningfully from above his mask, then opened the door and left. Sophia was just about to ask, "Who's going to examine me now?" when a cool male voice sounded behind her, "Come over here."
Sophia turned around and saw a male doctor sitting behind the desk. Instinctively, she pointed to the doorway, puzzled, "Wasn't the other doctor going to do the examination?"
"She's my assistant; I'm the attending physician." The male doctor glanced over, wearing a white doctor's cap and a mask that only revealed a pair of phoenix eyes—not very large, yet somewhat... familiar?
Sophia frowned, walked over and leaned in closer, staring at the doctor's phoenix eyes carefully, feeling as though she had seen them somewhere before but couldn't recall immediately.
