In the end, Evander drove Sophia home and told her that he had asked for leave for her. If she wasn't feeling well, she should take a few more days to rest. When they reached her building downstairs, Sophia glared fiercely at Evander, showing no intention of gratitude.
Seeing Sophia get out of the car, Evander followed suit.
"What do you want?" Sophia asked, sounding guarded. Evander smiled as if it was only natural, "Going up with you to meet the mother-in-law."
"Shameless!" Sophia spat viciously, "Don't go up! Who's your mother-in-law!"
Evander knew himself that things were progressing too fast, he had to give her some time to adjust, sighed and said, "Alright, I won't go up, I'll just watch you go in."
"Humph!" Sophia gave him another glare before turning to walk into the building entrance.
Standing downstairs, Evander looked up at Sophia's floor before getting back into the driver's seat and driving away.
