Not wanting to waste words anymore, she simply remained silent, letting Evander Lancaster hold her as she turned her face towards the back of the ambulance, watching the vehicles trailing behind.
The ambulance, with sirens blaring, made its way unobstructed to Evander Lancaster's hospital. It stopped, and one of the medical staff alighted first to assist on the ground, while the other followed behind Evander, closely guarding him as he carried Sophia inside, swiftly entering the hospital building.
Without arranging for Sophia to stay in a patient room, Evander took her to his own lounge, placed her on the bed, and instructed the medical staff to prepare an IV drip and buy breakfast.
Sophia was still wearing the patient's gown from the previous hospital, and Evander wasn't worried she'd run off, as he turned back to wash up in the bathroom.
