"She dares!" Evander Lancaster's eyes flashed sharply, his face turning cold, as if Sophia Hamilton really did marry another man.
"Ah," Finally getting some relief for himself, Nathan Moore felt inexplicably joyful, lowered his eyes with a sigh, flicked nonexistent dust off his trousers with bent fingers, and said leisurely, "Evander, this isn't about daring or not daring. Meeting the right person at the right time, getting carried away, then registering the marriage."
"I won't let this happen!" Evander tightened his eyes slightly and said decisively, his hand unconsciously pressing on the desk.
Nathan curled his lips, a small arc indicating a hint of schadenfreude, and continued nonchalantly, "If I'm not mistaken, Aunt Zane probably doesn't approve of Sophia Hamilton's family background. Now she's having a tiff with you."
At this point, Nathan paused, sighed deeply, and said meaningfully, "Trouble inside and out!"
