Evander Lancaster drove to Sophia Hamilton's house, once again carrying large bags of supplements.
He had a bag full of oatmeal walnut powder and bird's nest. Originally, Juliana Lancaster didn't want to open the door for him, but seeing that he refused to leave and worried he might disturb the neighbors, she finally did.
As soon as he entered, Evander anxiously asked, "Auntie, what's wrong with Sophia? Does she need to go to the hospital?"
Whether it was because he hurried or was nervous, his face was almost devoid of color.
Juliana was utterly confused. She was in the kitchen preparing dinner, and her daughter was in her room snacking.
Even though she didn't know what was going on, she still replied with a cold face, "Thanks for your concern, but I'm a doctor myself, so I can handle a minor illness."
Hearing Juliana's words, Evander became even more worried. He shoved the bags into her hand, hurriedly took off his shoes, and barefoot, he headed toward Sophia's bedroom.
