After such an incident, knowing Avery was still anxious, Daemon couldn't say much more. Maximilian glanced at his father then kindly said to Avery.
"You can go back for now, it's just a small matter."
"Alright, Young Master." Avery nodded and bowed, looking like someone who follows whoever feeds them, then turned to leave. As she reached the door, Maximilian called her back again.
"Avery, wait a moment."
Avery turned around, noticing Maximilian's hesitance. She smiled and said, "Young Master, if there's anything, just let me know. I'm always grateful for kindness and pay it back!"
After Avery finished speaking, the father and son on the couch exchanged a knowing glance, the emotions in their eyes understood only by each other.
