Resting on Joseph Lancaster's shoulder, Violet Zimmerman closed her eyes, the corners of her lips lifting in a gentle curve, appearing quite at ease.
When Joseph Lancaster wasn't being scolded by his mother, he didn't feel much of anything. He always respected Violet Zimmerman as if she were an elder, but after being scolded, he reflected that Violet was only two years older than him and he should avoid suspicion.
Though he thought this, Joseph didn't shy away; his body stiffened in fear of moving.
"Joseph, do you have a girl you like?" Violet's voice came from beside his shoulder, very gentle and pleasant to hear.
Joseph dropped his head to look at the tape recorder he held, "No."
"Then do you have a girl you fancy?" Violet asked again, Joseph turned his face towards her, looking at the relaxed expression of his sister-in-law, his heart trembled slightly.
"Sis-in-law, didn't I tell you before? How could you forget so quickly!"
