Mabel Quinn was pale.
At this moment, Atlas Shaw stepped forward and grabbed Kyle Kinston's wrist, saying, "Mr. Kinston, treating a woman like this is rather ungracious."
Kyle Kinston glanced coldly at Atlas Shaw, "What happens between her and me is none of your business."
"Enough." Mabel Quinn said, "Mr. Kinston, I don't know why you claim we know each other, but in reality, we do not. It's true that I traveled to J City before and saw you from afar at a parade on the street, but we never exchanged words. Maybe you happened to glance at me casually, and perhaps that's why you find me familiar, but that doesn't mean we know each other, does it?"
"You said you saw me at the parade in J City, and I might have glanced at you, is that so?" Kyle Kinston suddenly chuckled coldly.
"I only said maybe." Mabel Quinn still left a margin of uncertainty.
"Impossible." He quickly retorted, "It's impossible for me to have seen you and not know you."
"Why is it impossible?" she countered.
