"Let's take a look before deciding," Mabel said. "Initially, the identity of Alexander Quinn was fabricated just to avoid being found by Kyle Kinston. Now that it doesn't hold any purpose, it will eventually revert to the original identity. As for Alexander Quinn, when explaining to others, let's just say it's a pseudonym."
Alice Conley nodded, feeling that indeed, this seemed like the only way to handle it.
"But judging by Kyle Kinston's demeanor, it seems he won't easily divorce you. Have you truly lost all feelings for him?" Alice Conley asked. She wouldn't advise her friend to reconcile with Kyle Kinston just because Ivy is his daughter.
In her opinion, Mabel is raising Ivy well all by herself, and forcing a reconciliation just for the child's sake would only result in lifelong troubles.
She just hopes Mabel chooses to spend her life with someone based on her own feelings, with whomever she decides to be with.
