So Alice Conley made a phone call to Dorian Howards and got the cell phone number.
Mabel Quinn, feeling anxious, dialed the number. When the call was answered, Kyle Kinston's voice came through, "Are you looking for me?"
"You picked up Ivy… What are you planning to do?" Mabel asked, her voice stiffer than usual.
"What do you think I'm planning to do?" Kyle countered.
Mabel bit her lip. "Ivy is just a child. No matter what happened between us in the past, let's not involve the child, okay?"
"My car is almost at your apartment complex. I'll bring the child up in a bit," Kyle replied.
Just like that?! When the call ended, Mabel still hadn't quite snapped out of it, but Alice hurriedly asked, "What did he say?"
"He said he's arriving soon and will bring Ivy up," Mabel replied.
Alice let out a sigh of relief, "That's good. No matter what, you two have some things to straighten out."
