Mabel Quinn raised her hand and gently unbuttoned the collar of Kyle Kinston's shirt.
His body tensed slightly, but he didn't stop her actions, only saying in a low voice, "Do you still want to see it?"
"Yes." She replied, continuing to unbutton.
Until his shirt was completely unbuttoned, she finally saw his chest and abdomen with several reddish bruises. Clearly, these were from being hit by her father.
She naturally understood her father's feelings and knew he was actually standing up for her, expressing his indignation for her sake.
But seeing Kyle's injuries made her feel a bit uncomfortable, as if her heart... was being pricked with a slight pain.
"I'll talk to my father again about things between you and me, father... he doesn't know about the Kinston Family's Blood Curse and Destiny Connection." Mabel said, "Wait here for a moment, I'll go ask the butler for some medicated spray."
