Initially, she went back to her hometown and unexpectedly encountered this child. The villagers said the child was abandoned by her mother. It seemed the mother originally took the child to a clinic, and upon returning from the clinic, she abandoned her in the village. Someone once chatted with the mother, and heard her say that treating this child would cost a lot of money, and she was losing out on it. Thus, it was suspected the mother abandoned the child due to medical expenses.
The child wandered near the village; villagers pitied her and offered her some food when they saw her. But who would take in a fool? Wouldn't that just increase the burden on their family?
The middle-aged woman remembered the first time she saw the little girl. She was filthy all over, and her face was so dirty that it was unrecognizable. Yet, inexplicably, upon seeing this child, she thought of her own sadly miscarried baby. The miscarriage happened at 7 months, and the doctor said it was a girl.
